Quite the contrary. It's far more professional to say nothing until its signed and sealed.
If funding was close, I am sure Naheed would be shouting/hinting from the rooftops about it. After all, we're talking hundreds of millions of pounds of capex. There has been nothing from her to suggest any funding is imminent. It would also be an odd time to consider the new project of £200k. It will be interesting to see if she gives any specifics re funding or any kind of timescale for it as part of the next Q&A.
It would make sense, I just remember a long time ago Naheed stating they’re in ongoing talks with possible investors, which they probably were. But now all of the studies seem to be completed and we’re entering the design FEED phase, funding (hopefully) seems ever so close.
I would imagine the reason different models have been talked about is because at this stage, she herself doesn't know as it will surely depend on what types of finance might become possible and until were at that stage (talks), its hard to predict who or what might want in and in what manner.
Given the large sums required to build and given are low cash flow, for me I can see that we will either be left with some type of royality deal or a low percentage one.
Either way, as long as it works out that we can make decent cashflow possible im all good.
The reward has to justify the outlay in terms of time spend so far for me.
Recently completed:
- technical and commercial feasibility study - China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co., Ltd. ("CET")
- Technical & Commercial Feasibility Study for Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia Plant - thyssenkrupp
- Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)
- Geotechnical Study and Electrical Resistivity Survey (ERS)
- topography survey report
Hopefully a few others have submitted that Exact question Zan. What will, and how will shareholders benefit long term ?
She’s talked about getting a similar deal to what we got with NZ, or a large JV taking it forward where we would retain “X” percentage. But she’s also talked about is receiving some kind of “premium” long before construction is finished ? So which one is it? Or both ?
It’s 3 years in October since this development/project was launched, I think we’re within our rights to know the above.
Thats another step ticked off. Approval will be the next one then the biggie, financing.
Its the financing and details of that which are key here and what imo the market is waiting on as until then, none of us know what we can expect to make/get from this project, if it is able to be built.
To do that though prior items had to be completed and Naheed is ticking them off one by one, so credit for that.
Yeah I’ve been a little disgruntled lately with it all but nice progress being made in recent times across the board and more and more talk about securing funding soon for construction to begin
Keep up the momentum and work on getting this across the line and Il be happy
Nice news this morning, another step closer to achieving funding.
Nothing but negatively?!! We are sat at 0.028p!! We have no revenues, we have no money, we have a useless CEO, we have no focus, we have no short/medium term revenues, we have been diluted to death… with more to come!! What’s there to be positive about?!
Yet you can’t stop yourself from responding. “Imbecile”.
Which is pretty much how i described it in the telegram group, but I don't have to explain myself to you, because you offer nothing but negativity. You're boring.
Zan, I totally agree. I used to take these with a pinch of salt because after all, it’s a recap and round up of that quarters events which can all be found anyway in the RNS page
That said, Naheed used to stamp her own touch on proceedings and seemed to give a bit more, not this time though. Not particularly looking forward to the Q&A but I’ve submitted a range of questions.
That completion of the GH feasibility study was lame. No details, no in-depth talks or analytic point of views from the company. Just nothing, something I’ve not experienced with other companies and to be quite honest, since they point, I’m still none the wiser.
One minute you’re slating ORCP/Naheed and the next you’re being some kind of board vigilante… based on zero new news/progress. Today’s “update” is a joke. Bipolar.
AG,
Hope you're well.
Given the massive salary taken by our CEO here, you would have expected a bit more time taken on this update, but in truth every update is vague here. Nothing ever has much detail to it.
I remember the GH feasibility study undertaken by a third party for us and all we got was a "its done" RNS with zero detail in it after we had all waited on it for about 12 months.
Its an area for improvement imo.
Bipolar? It is possible for me to disregard you and scrutinise Naheed at the same time you know...
my point being, mr bipolar…. it’s doesn’t “need” it, as the previous poster suggested. oracle do (but wont), but ****stan doesn’t, hence why it hasn’t happened and probably won’t happen.
Https://dunyanews.tv/amp/english/752738.php This recent enough?! In fact… just Google it and see that this issue is still relevant today, imbecile.
And now all of a sudden the situation has changed?!! “Imbecile” :) :) how old are you? 12?
Can't see anything happening. The only hope for Oracle was Imran Khan.
That was 3 years ago you imbecile.
Https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN2AO27B/ Why does it NEED to develop power?
Company needs to deliver something and generate some revenues.
Country needs power to develop...
...make it so
agreed. sp****.
just to remind this was reported in q2 2023 update but no reference since
· successfully signed an mou for the off-take and development of the 1.32gw thar coal fired power plant in may with the government of sindh, thar electricity limited, k-electric limited and powerchina. potential development activities will include the investment, development, financing, construction, and operation of the project
2 possibilities. close to an agreement to actually do something to monetize so cannot comment or mou has not triggered any activity at all. i'd like to think the former but i tend to be a half-full sort of person!
Probably the most Vague Quarterly Update I've ever opened, but not much has happened really
