Presentation started.
Broker recommendation 84p a share.
Thanks
Should be 12
Does anyone know what time the presentation is?
Thanks
No way that this could be bought for £8m. 4,5 or 6 times that might start discussions!!!
Yes, that was my first thought. Better to have another interested party.
The O&G industry is tight, people will know about the disparity here.
At such a low market cap it's not beyond belief that at some point a bid could be tabled Mozak? £8m pocket money to some of the bigger O&G players. I'm surprised Ping just don't snap up the whole 100% by aquring the business.
Let’s hope Stephen Brown is feeling better this time.
I’ll happily buy those selling their shares, as I posted previously, 18.75% free carry of the recent farm out to Ping @ $85 per barrel gives NAV of £100M.
£100M of retained Value.
All Cost to production by Ping.
Current MCap £8.6M.
Someone will just buy us out. No Brainer.
It will probably be the same presentation as last time. Hopefully with some different questions, and timelines
To be honest, if the needle doesn’t move upwards after the presentation, I’m selling out.
Looking forward to tomorrow's presentation. Unless we get an early rns then not going to be anything life changing disclosed, but always good to hear from "the horses mouth" what we can look forward to. Hope everyone's been getting their questions in. Got that Xmas eve anticipation lo
You convinced me earlier, im in another 550k..........god im crazy or optimistic beyond belief. haha.
So, following the Farm out to Ping, the NPV of the 18.75% remaining to Orcadian at $85 US per barrel equates to £100M.
That’s £100M of retained interest.
Ping fund to production.
Very low free-float so will move quickly.
Political tension may well lead to higher Price of Oil.
My guess is that once Ping start the drill the sp will gain traction . Should see some uplift as soon as they appoint the FPSO team.
Politics is key. I did a lot of posting on the JOG board if anyone is interested. ORCA's situation is very similar to JOG. I wonder in fact whether JOG shouldn't buy ORCA, what an option that would be!
Political Uncertainty, reference any O & G exploration or production involving the North Sea. Once the UK is beyond the next general election businesses will be better able to judge if it is worth the risk.
I think that there is a bigger play which is happening which is what I’m looking at. People’s focus has been the recent approximate 120% increase but the move out of the downtrend I feel happened in July 2023 if you look at the 5 yearly graph.
I believe we are now forming an Elliot wave formation with wave 3 about to start - projected target for the m this is approximately 3-4 months time with the initial target approximately 30 as a short term target. Bear in mind that from the July 2023 low to the recent pump they would have x9 and are likely profit taking.
Completing the wave would take us to early next year so I believe there is upside once the short term and people needing take their money out.
Completing the wave or a good RNS could give us a very nice return
Anyone have any theories as to what is holding this back ?
was the last few RNS's not good enough?
or.....is this just the price ORCA will stay at?
thoughts welcomed
Looking back to the RNS of 12th Jan, it looks like they were a good chunk of the £500k raise announced in Dec 23. Bought in at 14p and now trimming their holding by selling at 13p to 17p. This would be their first chance to get out at a profit. Explains all the "unknown" trades that have been going through recently.
No idea -- what price they bought in?
RNS x 2 shows a Woodland Capital selling below 3%. Anyone know what that's about?
UT = 12.20p on 1300 shares.
This could move up significantly on a whisker.
Not getting involved in your ramping behaviour..look at today's buys it's not difficult to see that :)
Mangio61 what's wrong with you? The CEO has over 29million shares and is a guarantor for the Ping deal.
