Tnx for the article link R666ddy. Very insightful. Now what we need is the market to value the company accordingly rather than this RIDICULOUS valuation. It will in time I'm sure so this could be seen as a great opp to top up.
GLA
So ORCA are expecting the 3rd licence before the end of April or early May. People could get caught out waiting to long for a top up or a new buy. Me included😅
This is at a ridiculous price now, I can't understand why we are so undervalued.
That's a really good article. Lots of hidden value in this one.
Short term not so !
Article giving current position and future position .

I agree ,but until the oil is extracted and cash is being generated.. this will still be highly undervalued .Theres just non income currently.but when there is ,it will explode.
IMHO
This is the most undervalued company listed in the london stock exchange. Now that Pilot it is de-risked there are additional licenses that may come in sooner or later. lets see what happen next. ATB
This company could have £500 free cash flow and this would still be crap.
i have no idea what needs to happen here, i have lost all faith
ando
Perhaps in this scenario North Sea would be very fashionable. If i remember correctly Steve in a presentation months ago was saying that the Pilot project will become very useful for UK energy independence. Lets see how things will move on.
What better options? The whole market is down. There's fears of a war in the Middle East. It will take time to settle. All the more reason to reduce dependency on unstable and unreliable oil producing dictatorships like Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Good opportunity to add.
No interest now until the awaiting next RNS .The sellers will keep selling as theres better options for them out there .If your in deep ..good luck to us all !
"A week is a long time in politics."
Both UK politicians and oil & gas execs will be re thinking their positions ref the North Sea.
I see Orcadian as a double play, one, this fantastic deal with Ping, £100M of retained value.
The second is that I wanted an interesting oil play, with tensions rising in the Middle East, Iran & Israel, there is potential for The Price of Oil to rise significantly.
Our £100M is based on $85 per barrel.
Keep an eye on POO, & PING May accelerate their program accordingly.
That's how I see it also Spring, this is not just about the Ping deal. If everything goes to plan with that, then in a few years time (which is not the end of the world I hope) without doubt the sp shall be far higher than current level.
Didgy, for sure first oil from Pilot will take time but i am expecting more activity from the other licences that this company holds, and hopes to acquire. Ping will get on with Pilot while Orcadian looks for a further farm out on other licences, or even gets bought out along the way. I am amazed that this SP has remained so low.
Will wait a long time for ping to start drawing the oil from a straw to see any decent uplift...I'm not going anywhere but this SP is very challenging .
Mibbees you'll can buy that flat overlooking the 18th lol
St. Andrews mate, it's just 2 minutes along the street 😆
Good luck Ando... 8 years time that might be enough to buy her a place at Eton or Cambridge lol
Yip, im hedging by being heavy in here and CMET........one , if not both are going to come good........this may be a slightly slower burner though.
ive got my daughter in this (shes at school , she doesnt know, shes young ) so slow and steady is ok, in about 8 years when she hopefully goes to university......she can pay her own way lol......she has 50k shares.
Weighed up what I consider to be an easily achievable upside, against waiting on news downside and picked up a few more. Worse case scenario I look at a paper loss until fdp/new licence talk starts, best case 50-100% up on same rationale? Think Steve is very believable and sometimes gut feel is as good a reason as any.
Aye, me also Andoman

Your patience will reap rewards.
I hold quite a lot too! It will come good 😃
