Ophir are mainly gas, so not directly linked to the poo
Don't know where your looking at your oil chart ? Its back to where it was two weeks ago @ $62 having been down to $57 and with the opec meeting coming up soon a rise to $70 looks promising.
Really? Oil price going down. Price action today just tells me that the drill results are okay. Bit it's only a little drill, but very little helps as tescos says!
Looking at the movement of the oil price, this could be the last chance to top up below 35p.
Cue resources give quite a commentary to the drilling they said last week flow testing continue to indicate hydrocarbons so I suspect ophir will update the market in the next few days.
What happened to OPHR LNG project? is it up in smoke as in write off or impairement charge? Thx.

Natural gas has boomed over the last year I know showing a 5% fall but that's after natural gas nearly doubling in the last year, and now oil is up, ophr will be throwing off money
Good enough for them, certainly good enough for me.
OPHR are being played imo, just have to look at how today's trades have panned out.
It's all over the place on really thin trades. Will be glad when we get the well result might provide the umph back up to 40p at least. And who knows if the Chinese have played ball with regards to Fortuna
FTSE up, oil rallying and this STILL drops. Don't even know what to say about this share anymore.
What a joke goes from 4% up to down in the crapper dear me
What's with all the 159,709 trades????
Not nice enough for my taste,
Just paddling around on pathetically low volume.
Get in quick lads and lasses
Same old,
Movement.
And even more crazy is that the net assets are worth 6x that of the market cap, that would equate to a share price of around £2, this is seriously undervalued but it has been for some time now.
Wow, can you believe it, around 65% of ophir shares are in institutional investors. 65%! Something has got to give here...
Lower POO prices are unrelenting ..down a little today

I owned salamander oil for many years ..a poor investment...until Ophir bought them out

Patience m8..and you will do well
Managed to give its daily gain back at the close, why don't this bod come out with a update to say whats happening? ( presuming something is.
It was a merger rather than takeover. Ironically, would have been a good fit given that Ophir had cash and discoveries, PMO mass debt.
I do think that if 2014/15 in anything to go by then we would see a lot of takeovers/mergers in oil industry and Ophir could be one of takeover targets.Having said that Ophir tried to take over premier oil at one point. 1.5 Billion they had have long gone.
This needs a day like echo had today.
