Take care
Slowly giving back again.
11,966 shares. F me they are actually blue right now lol.
Down 0.5p. Excellent strength. Market plunging. Buying more today. Just waiting in case it dips towards 30p lster
Cheers mate. Looking at the American markets it might aswell have finished down because we’re going lower again tomorrow
There you go Munch, blue !
Lets see if tomorrow manages blue again.
Have a good evening.
Munch,
The trajectory of the SP has been under control of the BOT for what seems like an eternity.
You just have to look beyond the SP , OPHR will come good imo, but like I mentioned, will OPHR be allowed to turn the ship around, I think not ... this will be a target without a doubt. Fortuna may well be the key to this imo.
Newkotb. I’m chilling. Just frustrated. Ftse is up. Other oil stocks r up albeit I few % but this dog just keeps going down. My views remain the same but if the stock starts to trade opposite to the market trend then something is not quiet right wouldn’t u say.
Munch .... chill !
On Friday you stated " I’m in and the more I’m starting to research about Ophir the more I see this being taken over by a Chinese / Korean company. ...."
So what has changed, nothing imo. The odds of catching the bottom is always against you in this market, hold firm and add if you still believe in your Friday post. OPHR will turn the corner, massive cash flow with great assets and close +30kbopd, the question is whether it will be allowed too or not.

Oh boy. So glad I’m not here from the 80p days. This share is screwed n will never go higher. Wish I listened to my broker but 38p is not far off from 33p. F knows when it will get there. Ridiculous stock.
Down with oil prices which r at there lowest since Oct 17
but vol wasnt actually that great the other day when we spiked either... but in any case i have just added more, its just a question of time here IMO, and i suspect sooner rather than later...
Its reminiscent of that film " the big short where no one could see the value in it ( except us
AA,
Simple, we are in play imo, have been for months now. Been watching the BOT's at work for ages now, same mo, day after day.
Just added a few more myself today.
What really frustrates me is the fact that I can see no reason for the sell off since last Wednesday (whats changed ?
I don't think for one moment its the oil price, its fallen much harder than others like Pmo that is directly leveraged against poo, whereas ophr is mainly gas,
Why buy at 38 and sell at 32 ? Strange brew ( killing whats inside of you )https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r0FFTd3bS_8
369665 buys 153019 sells, total vol, 498574, down 4%
Keep the informative posts coming. Bless u all. I’m topping up .... tomorrow as I feel Dow will sell off again.
Something wrong here , low vol, buys far outweigh the sells, almost 5% down,
are we back down here again, was touching 39p the other day

Keppel gets nod to start Gimi conversion
Early works to commence on FLNG vessel destined for the stalled project off Equatorial Guinea

Singapore’s Keppel has been given the green light to proceed with early works on the Gimi floating liquefied natural gas vessel by Golar LNG.
Keppel Offshore & Marine subsidiary Keppel Shipyard received the notice to proceed with early conversion works for the Gimi FLNG vessel which will take up to four months to complete, with the work valued at up to S$50 million (US$36.4 million).
Keppel added that full construction activities, further the early conversion work, would start once it received the final notice to proceed.
Keppel was originally awarded the contract to convert 125,000 cubic metre LNG carrier Golar Gimi into an FLNG facility in December 2014.
In May 2015, Golar signed a binding head of terms with Ophir Energy for the latter to use the vessel at its Fortuna FLNG project on Block-R, off Equatorial Guinea.
The project hit a major setback in late 2017 when talks collapsed with potential Chinese lenders, then earlier this year Schlumberger elected to pull out of OneLNG, its 49:51 joint venture with Golar LNG, because Fortuna had been unable to secure a debt financing package.
This is really getting ridiculously cheap. 30p I’m in for more. Happy to hold. First to go in new year. Chinese / Korean state will snap this up.
Massive M&A to kick off during 2019 imo.
Low p/e companies, with secure assets, low lifting costs, great revenue will be picked off.
No point in doing wildcat expo when you can get instant, cash generating assets off the shelf imo.
OPHR will be one of many low lying fruit, just ripe and ready for picking.
