Yeah I think people will pay £52.00 for airport testing. The cheapest test I could find when I went to Spain for my dad's funeral was £65.00. I suspect it will take the airline industry a bit if time to get up to their previous turnover but as soon as it's permissible numbers will get up to 25 million. It's likely that the price will get more competitive but it will be much higher than in other commercial contexts because people will see it as part of the cost of their holiday. If they priced it at £30.00 they would dominate the market atm.
MIKODX Are you a share holder?
See that stuff on the top of ponds that's you, don't be jealous buy back in
FourFigureBS - I sold when it spiked to £1.15 the share price is now 90 lol. Your assumptions or should I say the narrative your trying to spin, is absolutely and totally false. You'll have to try a whole lot harder than that fella,
Twatcher by name twatcher by nature now jog on deramper
Couple of points on that MIK and querying your logic if i may...
- Where has it explicitly stated that the government will not be using LFT for antibody surveillance?
- Do you honestly believe that ODX, on the back of the initial feedback from MHRA, would've just held their hands up and said 'ohh ok, maybe this game isn't for us'.......No, of course not. They've likely gone away to fine-tune the product to be used exactly as designed - lateral flow in the community, self-tested.
as always stating the facts. Some have waxed lyrically saying how great this long term contract is, but forgot to mention that ODX themselves are telling you it's not price sensitive given the "NON" designation of the RNS.
Stop deramping you clown
FourfigureBS & Twatter - The UK Contract is null and void. They will not be using LFT's for antibody tests. Antibody tests will be processed in the labs. Remember the UK contract is for antibody LFT's, and that contract now no longer exists. You I'm afraid are the prat for not realising this.
I checked out the Screen4 website and quote the following:
‘Screen4 (Yorkshire) Ltd are proud to announce that we have partnered with diagnostic giant Omega Diagnostics to become an exclusive distributor of the new Home Use Antibody Test.’
Diagnostic GIANT? Lol sorry had to chuckle. I think that statement puts Screen4’s own market status in perspective....
Anyway back to the ‘contract’. No value provided. No volume provided. No wonder the market response is virtually zilch. People, the ELISA Lab Test is history. That ship has sailed. And bear in mind this is being offered for private use @ £52 do you seriously think there will be a mass take up? Pull the other one. This test is also a minimum one week turn around - snails pace compared to much bigger competitors.
No folks Antigen LFT’s are where it’s at and that’s why Col is desperately trying to reposition ODX for them because he knows the ABC Rapid Antibody Test is a dead duck.
wot a prat
This is for ELISA not the ABC-19
If you'd have thoroughly done your research, MIK, you'd have realised this is for a different product...
MIKODX, I think you should change your name to start with, then come back and provide your insights.
So there you have it folks, the UK contract is null and void just as I thought, otherwise they wouldn't be able to sell privately. Sometimes you have to read between the lines and ignore the ramping up, to get to the truth.
