"Seems they have quite selective appproach to news management"
Yep.....they seem to be very keen on stopping any upward momentum - not so much when price gets hammered...if we get hammered tomorrow lets see how quick they are!
Wadogara,
Please read that section of the contract again. The charges/costs are agreed during phase 1 but apply to the contract and can be periodically reviewed.
The 18% margin relates to Phase 1 only..we are now in Phase 2
Sneaky Simon ,
The contract states an 18% margin. Phase 1 costs are used to calculate the charges using the 18% margin and there is the facility to review the charges periodically.
The 18% is at least one item in the contract that is material information which should have been released via an RNS. It may be that they hadn't accounted for the need for an RNS due to this figure hence the late tweet after I highlighted the margin in the contract. I expect an RNS tomorrow to rectify their omission. As I previously stated considering the volume and support they are getting this margin seems reasonable. Quite hapy if I am proved wrong. I am not a shorter or deramper just a shareholder disappointed with ODX comms.
I get Paul’s logic, but on the flipside
- the tweets they put out influence the SP yet are often not backed up with official RNS’ed news
- last couple of days, I have seen a few confused / deramping comments around the 18% margin - I have not seen an eager tweet from Walbrook to clarify
Seems they have quite selective appproach to news management
"Walbrook have not made any acknowledgement of any unprofessionalism but had plenty of chance to do so."
Omega have clearly outgrown the capabilities of Walbrook, Paul's justification to me in email was that the tweet had come from the company, and that they had feared a misinterpretation of the DHSC release was going to drive early buying on monday, and "it reflects the Omega’s desire to be honest and clear with shareholders, to ensure that expectations on future performance are correct"
Christ, next time someone mentions FOMO or "wouldn't want to be out of this share over the weekend" can we expect another Tesla like tweet ?
Blubutton - totally agree. It is everyman for himself out there. Market takes no prisoners and no one will care if you lose money.
All you can hope is to get into a story early or successfully trade the moves in the market.
It is hard enough without the company self destructing on a far too regular basis. This share is quite frankly 2steps forward 4 steps back.
All I can say is..... Great PR by wallbroook, funny how far a Tesla story gets, EVERYWHERE now everybody knows about omega diagnostics.
You are picking up on one word in my post to attack it, you miss the entire point of it as it’s over your head.
its not about being a supporter of the company, this is neither a team game or a fan site.
it is YOUR money, you against the market, fighting to make a return on capital. do any of the faceless names on here club together to make good any losses , should they occur, of course not !!
no one on here is a supporter of the company, everyone on here is involved for one reason and one reason only, to make money.
ProfitSeeker’s vote on Twitter to either sack Walbrook or keep them currently has 295 votes with 85% wanting them sacked and 1 day left to run. So those who say they don’t know what all the fuss was about over Friday’s tweet could be in the minority.
Those that say nothing has changed, well everyone to their own opinion but sentiment was knocked by it and it plays right into the hands of the traders, shorters and mm’s.
Those who say only derampers are using the tweet to get in cheaper then that may be partially true but speaking for myself then I am a big supporter of the company and want it to do well and have not traded it just built a position where possible, but I have voiced my opinion I am not happy that’s my choice but with no agenda other than that.
Agreed they are jumping on the 18% but again this all goes back to the tweet and jumping on the back of bad sentiment.
Walbrook have not made any acknowledgement of any unprofessionalism but had plenty of chance to do so.
Time for a change of PR.
