Think Flashy has a fair point, think most of us expected an RNS?
We know there is no NDA - Omega have even been name checked by the Government so that’s not the reason
Just an opinion, the BoD may not want to show their hand on margins / price just yet? This makes sense commercially
- Shortage of LFT’s
- Omega one of the largest diagnostic manufacturer’s in Europe
- EU HUA, close
- DHSC negotiations
- USA professional use - hopefully close
Would it be in our interests at this moment in time be it Airports / airlines / governments / distributors knew our base cost & gross margin ? I don’t think so whilst we firm up contracts / sales
Think we can say with some level of confidence we are generating cash - our new chairman told its ‘ healthy
Ditto a Tweet today ? If the company NOMAD has advised it’s not RNS news as Omega had already disclosed they are manufacturing cassettes for Government contractors then it’s a tweet later, with no numbers?
No probs Bigdeal - thanks for the feedback. However, they do sometimes RNS about 'media speculation/comment' as they did when Innova got pulled, so I do think there are similarities here. Cheers.
my guess is that the info on cassetting and pouching being done by ODX was already out there. They have not previously given details of contract - so maybe a NDA . in which case nothing to add via RNS.
i suppose they could have tweeted but would probably have made it come across worse somehow -..... knowing colin eg "we are doing some work , not getting paid enough or much - dont order a skoda"
Flashy, it's Twitter worthy not Regulatory News Service worthy. All we have now is the name of the company we are supporting, that's it.
I'm inclined to believe i am right here on the basis that ODX have chosen not to release an RNS this morning.
Good day.
Give up on the demands for an RNS, it will come when it comes. Too many people getting in a tiz so early in the morning. Oh and another thing, please don't comment on the Share Price every 5 minutes. Nobody likes a Share Price camper.
Enjoy your day.
We've assembled some of them. It's on the govt website. But not making the full thing.

Jubblylane gets it. Gold star for you.
The fact that we are now def assembling it I think is newsworthy. We didn't know we had any connection to SS before - although it was likely that would be the one. Confirmation of that now allows us to work out approx of revenue and production. SS were paid £25 million last month I think, which could equate roughly to £1million for 1 million tests if they have a 7 million a week capacity and are using that 24/7 (all from memory here). What ODX is contributing to that we just don't know, but it's good to see we've got some revenues coming in now.
And as for sentiment: news changes sentiment, as this did yesterday. Ergo, it is newsworthy. Especially so in a company where the CEO has admitted that things have moved slower than they would have liked and therefore should understand his shareholders are on tenterhooks.
are ODX making the SS test? - has this been announced? - I can't see that info announced anywhere. As ever, people are trying to see things that aren't there (yet)
That's called sentiment. Look it up.
Not price sensitive? Remind me what happened to the SP yesterday when this was known.....
Just looking to see where it was agreed that ODX would be making the SS test. Nope can't find it.
We are supporting SS making their test which happens to be a government selected test but it's not the one we have currently agreed to make. When/if it is agreed, then an RNS will be released.
it IS price sensitive if they have decided the sovereign test is surescreen, which passed PD yesterday, as Omega are the chosen manufacturer of the government test.
Why would there be an RNS? We already knew we were doing work on behalf of another Covid company. It's not price sensitive and if it we're Javid wouldn't have announced before shareholders were informed.
Well I am surprised. I was thinking we'd certainly have an RNS today as the confirmation from the health secretary that we have been assembling for Surescreen. That was never known before.
