Hi Captain - my feelings about ODX are clear - if you wanted to invest in a company to lose money then ODX must be a serious contender - all of what you state plus personal experience - so my advise - look elsewhere if you want invest in AIM.
wad - i am not sure comparing sp off pre covid v now is relevant.
1) more shares - so better to look at market cap
2) market a lot worse and going to get a lot worse.
3) odx has damaged its own reputation - not just by not being able to sell a test in a pandemic but by being caught out with deceiving over placement
4) sold off a lot of their portfolio
5) probably a worse ceo - and that is saying something!
i would argue that they were a much better company pre covid with more potential
@Trader. In the year preceding covid, the SP here was comfortably in the 10-13p range. You have picked out the 27th Mar..one singular day..which wasn't pre-covid as you stste..covid was already anihilating the markets by then..better to average it out for longer than a one day dip.
stxx - it is still diagnostics though
just a set of more specialised and expensive tests
ps they seem good tests from my research.
"( as i know you won't be on here keeping a close eye every day wink wink )"
wad..don't worry i am not going anywhere. you will be able to rub it in if you make a mint! and say i told you so....and you know what i won't mind
hashtag here to see the story out
I think anyone looking at ODX need to totally wipe out the data after 27.03.2020 when the share shot up because everyone and his wife thought these guys were going to knock out Covid testing kits and make a mint. This period nearly wiped ODX out due to poor management.
Please note the SP was only 7.53p on 27.03.20 pre Covid frenzy. Bearing in mind ODX are probably in a much weaker position now how exciting does this share currently appear?
Suppose we'll just have to wait and see eh.Considering you have no hope for this share,do you want to give me your email so i can contact you if anything positive should happen ? ( as i know you won't be on here keeping a close eye every day wink wink )
wad - personally i dont think there is a chance of 6-8p...not with the bucket shop flippers. i suspect they have been stuck in a lot longer than they expected..they will take a 20-40% percentage and then have warrants in reserve with no risk
"at some stage sellers have to be be exhausted."
with 26 trades in total today...it is not the sellers that are the problem....it is where will the buyers come from?
odx hit the limelight because of covid - do you think people are looking for food intolerance tests at this moment in time?
Allowing for dilution,to level with pre-covid SP we should be in the 6-8p range, revenues are much higher and and operating costs have been slashed. We're ready for lift off in coming months.
joe ...i think many of us thought the same at 4p and 3.5p
lets hope so
Wad...good luck.
Personally I would not buy in ...unless a quick trade ...before results. Remember they are only up to end of march...so even if big things have been happening and I doubt as no rns with big contracts...it is too soon to be reflected in my view.
I would wait for results and see how much tangible evidence of future earning potential there is. There will be some sort of pump...but if it stays along the lines of previous stuff on ft then it is still very dubious. Comparing last year to a covid year skews things...they have also muddied the water a bit with China...
Wad....I really don't think you will get the returns you are hoping for. If you must take a punt then my advice is to wait for it to drop below 3p.
The eve of their next presentation may be a good time for a punt to get in but boy that presentation the following day needs to be positive and their track record of presentations is woeful.
Wado I see what you are saying but I won't be silenced untill something is done about Trader posting on here.
I've decided that this is getting v close to being worth a punt again We all know the history, not gonna mull over it.This one still owes me and many many others and i'm determined to recoup my losses.Revs expected to grow to over £12M..placing done,Alva sold,CD4 sold,Colin gone,Handjob gone..£7M mcap.Looking ahead further than a month or 2,i can see this at least double bagging by xmas.(yes,2022)IF we can sort the DHSC quibble and receive the remaining £4M CD4 payment.Interesting times if the truth be told.It would just be nice if the board isn't continuously overrun by the same 3 or 4 posters.
