To be clearer. There are many who are "Lord". It is a wide title.
I am a lord therefor I am a peer of the realm is a false alternative.
Taxi, irrespective of how well acquainted you may or may not be with the aristricacy at various levels the question become a simple two.
Was the gentlemen being represented as a peer of the realm. NO.
Was stevens presented to encourage an individual to infer he is ? Emphatically in my view..
SBP,
Yep. Always worth looking at the 2 yearly filings for a private company.
Also worth looking at any known or discovered privatw funding. And the dates.
To be clear I am uncertain the list at CH includes those who subscribed
But, to be fair so what ? Elements of the subdeals are that the equity holders arw bought out *pro rata".
Stevwns himself has a set of payments. They are unlikely to be shared.
The point IMHO is to credibility and honesty. Investors considering parting with their hard-earned might think twice on finding that the recipients of a large part of their cash have been setting up businesses as Lord and Lady, businesses which have seem to have received outside funding, when those titles are joke titles which may have been purchased on the internet. I would not put a single penny into their pockets. I wonder if the nuog directors are aware of this oddity? Anyway it is to all potential investors to do their own due diligence. I have done mine and I am retreating at pace from this one.
I am not sure what the relevance of this is, does it matter whether their lords or ladies or not. The only relevant questions are is is the idea a good one and can the company make money off it? Can it find other avenues to develop its business, or not? Can it get funding or not? Will the listing be approved by the LSE or not? Long gone are the days where being a Lord meant getting vast lands and wealth from the patronage of Royalty. Most aristocrats have struggled financially in recent years with death duties, rising costs of maintenance of their castles, many have had to dump art, assets just to stay afloat. Its not a gilded path any longer.
Then try lady teresa mavis stevens...oh dear
It removed the link but go to companies house website search page and type in lord david stevens if interested

Just put in 'lord david stevens' in companies house search and this pops up....hmmm
Good old NUOG - never fails to disappoint. The final twist of a very sorry saga lol
A story unfolding? very interesting
"Mrs Stevens, a former chef, works alongside her husband David at their firm Marine and Auto Security Solutions in Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire." Daily Mail....
So that's how to get into the House of Lords.
C'mon this needs explaining

There are more Crowd Funding shareholders than you can shake a stick at, and there are no lord and lady stevens, just their names.
Same as Lord Such (RIP) ; you can call yourself what you want for a purpose.
Not professing to be Lord or Lady on LinkedIn.
https://uk.linkedin.com/in/david-stevens-21939b68
https://uk.linkedin.com/in/teresa-stevens-a0187441
When you click on their names on companies house, the Lord and Lady titles disappear.

Shame because Lady Teresa Mavis has a nice ring to it.
Has anyone else checked the house of lords register for 'lord david stevens'? The only one I could find is baron Stevens of Ludgate, former CEO of Invesco and United newspapers etc.. He is not this NUOG/Guardian 'lord david stevens' as a dob check on Companies house proves plus the fact the photos do not match..daily mail vs house of lords website..alarm bells ringing potential investors? I hope Stevens is not using an internet-purchased title to give him more credibility with NUOG or with potential investors #highlandtitles.com
These are legal listing deadlines surely though, Taxi? Can't just keep kicking the can down the road forever. Time gentleman, please!
Deadlines with this company are a movable feast, I wouldnt get too steamed up about a target that depends on a lot of extraneous factors.
Two days left to go to meet this target deadline....
Taken from the last RNS (May 21) - "The parties remain committed to finalising the transaction as soon as possible and are targeting completion and admittance to trading on the Main Market towards the end of this quarter".

A wall of silence from the company...will it explode into action ...or die with a whimper...Hmmm anybodys guess it seems
"I really wish they'd do all the desperate gamblers (McAdder, Gary Smith et al) a favour and turn the lights out here so we can move on with our lives."
JohnBriggs - I did myself a favour and got out of here long ago admittedly at a 40% loss but at an average of 0.18 which on reflection was a good move and the sort of price that is unlikely to be seen again unless there is a 100/1 consolidation! And that's IF this ever comes back....
Everything you just said taxi was true 12 months ago. Price lower than hoped, market poor. Hype and all that was wrong. Of course doc was optimistic and essentially nothings changed but to be honest that guy has many failings so it’s really no comfort. For me there was.. is.. no faith to loose. Faith and trust is earned! And hard won back once lost.
I expect nothing here, be great to see it come back, but let’s be realistic, this company is the definition of dog!!!
Wake me up when something actually happens here.. which very likely will be the total liquidation and loss of this “cash shell” shorters will be laughing and it looks like the one popping corks will be Marbur, who will be non stop laughing at A1.
This share is my only investing regret.
I don't think we have lost faith but there is no question that this is taking a long time and clearly, with the weakness in the markets, the price may not be as high flying as people originally hoped for. Also the longer it takes the more risk of something going wrong or someone pulling out.
What a toxic company, even the uber positive (recent) rampers have lost their regained faith. I really wish they'd do all the desperate gamblers (McAdder, Gary Smith et al) a favour and turn the lights out here so we can move on with our lives.
Help...Whats going on in the background with this company????
Thanks I guess we wait and see.
