...with the fairies! LoL
Bought 25k @ just under 65p ... holding 225k - must be at least a little bit cheap at this price? - brexit long grassed for a while?
always away
are you at home ?
somewhere in the 50s?
Well the notional ask is 70p so things are looking less grizzly this afternoon. Today's SP is surely an over-reaction to a poorly worded RNS. It is possible remember that they will pay a special dividend in addition to the ordinary dividend given that they have matched last year's outstanding performance and are broadly in line with expectations. No terribly adverse weather to date either. Some capital growth via SP rises would be very welcome but with a decent divi and special divi then even a standstill SP would make this a worthwhile investment..
Agree it looks like a hint at current circumstances & outlook having deteriorated a tad?
Not happy about the drop - would like to say a rude word or two - sulk time?
The key words were not 'in-line' but 'broadly in-line'. This is management code for a miss.
They've said that the first 10 months were ahead of expectations but the implication is that going is tough at the moment.
It seems a lot of purchase decisions are being held back in the UK until we know what's happening on 29 March.
I'm not holding any NTBR at the moment, not planning to buy any until there is more visibility. Good company though - just victims of current circumstances IMHO
GLA
we can expect a f(l)urry of large sells then Jolly?
large background sell order
Pither?
with previous outstanding results and ahead of management expectations lead to a southpaw to the SP? I should think we should claw back some of the drop once the fur stops flying. A really decent yield here but I am cagey about buying more until I find out what is ailing this bluff ole bear.
For me, aside from the emergence of the dark thing, it's principally about wether or not the acquisition of h-peel has been a successful move? ... the interims suggested quite strongly to me that it has ... and this could eventually fuel a re-rate ... Ntbr has always been quite conservatively priced in my opinion.
some issues around residual stakes, perhaps? overhang(s)
questions over management/margins? a mixed track-record of operational performance, & an eclectic mix of businesses exposed to cyclical building sector
v difficult to nail down...I'm a bit of a lemming following lemmink here
The modest valuation here? Jolly?
I probably wasn't about to buy any more anyway... but it makes me feel like standing off from buying ... to be frank I'm not sure what a correct response would be to the possibility / probability? of such a sex offender having a 3%+ stake in the company ... maybe it's not him? ... that sounds like clutching at straws!
I hadn't...
yuk
Have you googled that name?
"Nicholas Beaumont-Dark that, following an acquisition of Ordinary Shares, his shareholding in the Company breached the 3 per cent. threshold. Mr Beaumont-Dark's current shareholding in the Company is 660,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 3.56 per cent. of the Company's Enlarged Share Capital."
paid
Will take a look - TRI looks most interesting on casual inspection
I'm pretty bearish...
...but I'm always Jolly keen on DWHA
...and perhaps have a look at EMR, TRI...
Happy New Year :-) ... hope it's better than the last one which was a downer by a little over 10% for my pf.
Got any tips?
if it's good enough for lemmink...
