Some fairly large trades yesterday. Might we be seeing a holdings RNS again soon?
http://tinyurl.com/hjfkjsn Bjarke Larsen chief executive of NetPlay TV PLC (LON:NPT) says the “core business is strong and stable” which helped to drive revenue higher in 2015. For 2015 overall, revenues were £26.3mln, while EBITDA came in at the top end of expectations, around £2.7mln. Momentum has continued into the current year, the gaming group said in its report, with a 26% rise in new players and a 16% rise in active payers in the first three months of 2015. The firm has rewarded shareholders with a special dividend as the number of players taking part in its late-night TV casino games rose sharply.
Happy to see that the board has managed to handle the POC tax and gaming duties well and now there are now positive trends in EBITDA. The growth in depositing players bodes well for the future. The special divi is a real sweetener for a company that is sure to bust out of this low valuation some time in the nearish future!
Only buys this morning. My top up showing as a sell along with another at same price. Inc spec div, yield is 13.66% and several years div cover in the bank. Further to go l think.

announces that its board of directors has recommended the payment of a final dividend comprising 0.34 pence per share plus an additional special dividend of 0.68 pence per share. This special dividend proposal together with the final dividend and the interim dividend (paid in October 2015) brings the total dividend to 1.24 pence per share. The final dividend and special dividend are subject to shareholder approval, which will need to be ratified at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is expected to be held on 12 May 2016. A formal notice of the AGM will be circulated in due course to shareholders, published on the Company's website and announced via the Regulatory News Service. In respect of the final dividend, the board of directors has approved an ex-dividend date of 19 May 2016 and a record date of 20 May 2016. In respect of the special dividend, the board of directors has approved an ex-dividend date of 26 May 2016 and a record date of 27 May 2016. Both dividends, if approved, will be paid on 9 June 2016.
It could be a long overdue re-rating.. it also needs to get out to investors more....News is the lifeblood of small companies.
Net cash accounts for around 50% of the Mcap! Henderson are increasing their stake again, up to c14% now. Cash available to make further acquisitions and push up the SP, Henderson wouldn't have upped their stake if they'd not been assured of the Board's plans. Recent discussions over football pools business shows ambition. Share been poor for a long time, Board need to communicate better. Compare vague recent trading statement to that of TTR!
yup....something is afoot... and it should it be good
Or maybe a take over bid?
what's happening with sp up now - ?... NPT buying some company, lotto, etc?
thanks, BgCheese... there is a petition going round to sign which i signed to avoid these mms/excahnges tricks... Current technology is good enough for computers to know buys from sells - they have to change the way the comps behave which is not difficult at all
Sometimes sells show as buys and vice versa. It's driven by a computer that guesses based on the price bought and what the current ask and bid prices are. So if a share is bought close to the bid price it'll show as a sell. A tad misleading I know but sometimes if you buy at the right time before a sp goes up your buy will be seen as a sell as its below the normal ask price as the share price rises.
...showing as a sell.... (instead of buy)
I was on another thread yesterday.... a bought and there too was showing as a buy... I suspect they show all sells to make people panic and sell or sell for less
Lots of buys showing as sells. Mine is, undoubtedly others too.
Good news with Hendersons again reshowing some faith in the buisness model. Hope we can replicate some of the success of TTR
You should have read the terms & conditions, it usually explains the process..But some people can't be bothered..
I agree they do but what happens normally is you send them your ID and everything is fine. With these con men though they ask for ID so I send it, they still dont give me my money and ask for a bank statement I send it. I again ask for my money and they say no and they need to see a letter so I send it. I asked for my money again and they then need to see a utility bill. I dont pay the utility bills in my house so they refuse to pay. I then have to threaten them with legal action and after speaking to a solicitor friend of mine he tells me they are massively bending the law and after getting him to send a strong letter they then release my money. I cant see anybody using a bookies where they have to mess around like this and get a solicitor in to collect winnings when there are so many other bookies who just accept a driving licence and thats it. Who are you going to bet with a bookie where you need a solicitor to get your money or a fair bookie who just pays up?
Most bookies will ask for ID during early stages of account ownership. Now you have done that your account should run without fuss.
davidelliott, maybe now you've gone through the 'hoops' and gave them all your details for the first time, now they've got your details on record it would be easier the next time?..
I sold my shares here the second I tried using them as a bookie. I won a few bets and then when it come to withdrawing my money they made me jump through so many hoops it was unreal. Took me over a month to get it after sending them so much documentation its unreal, only when I threatened them with legal action that they sent me my money. Who is going to use a bookmaker that doesnt pay out? nobody so I sold my shares the very next day

........I have no clue when this might be.... Anyone with better knowledge than me, please let me know
So, they say everything is in line for 2015 but specifics on just what that means would help. Will have to wait until April to see the final results for 2015 but anyone know where to find previous guidance on what 2015 was intended to look like? BOD, it might be nice to share more publicly (ie: not just with your institutional folks) in your next statement your goals for 2016. The last 24 months have simply been terrible for your small shareholders. if you want support, you need to communicate more clearly.
