King could be, see how it reacts when it closes the gap, can it reclaim around 107 finish near the high or will it go down for the 102
And the problem with 103.7 is that’s you telling the markets to go lower
The market needs to tell you it doesn’t want to go lower if you get me
The rsi’s don’t always bounce from oversold!
sometimes it takes them to come out of oversold and when the sp goes lower again the rsi hold around 30( diverge again)and they can bounce
I think it’s setting up beautifully tho
Just let it play out n be patient
Don’t think it’ll be too long
I don’t want them to sell any parts of the business, and it’s the worst possible time to consider it. I remain happy to pick these up cheaply while fear reigns.
I've checked Digbeth to London
Pretty much Sold out, some tickets available in the evening
treble prices at say 98% occupancy
More rail strikes please, NEX is coining it ...
And Hindy , the RSI for the 8 hours is on 24, for 4 hours on 28 , and for daily it is 25
How much more can that be cooked ?
It went to the 103s on open Hindy , I really think that could be the bottom. You mentioned 102, but what's 1p between friends 😅
I’d like it to put in a bottom soon and set up for curling round
I think the drops getting to the overdone stage
You have to let the market show you tho
I think they should carry on just as they are head down & do what they are good at getting people from A to B
Forgot to say on my trip to Hull i had to do 1 transfer well on the way up there was a smash on motorway
so missed my transfer as did 2 others thinking now i would have to hang around coach station for 3 -4 hours was not happy but as i got off coach a nat express lady came over asking if anyone was going to Hull.
Well they issued us with train ticket to Hull was the hold up Nex fault NO did the have to issue us with train ticket i would have said NO . Out standing service well done Nex
I think they should sell the US school bus business and pay down debt and invest in other faster growing higher yielding businesses.
Once you sell an asset..you obviously lose all the cash flow from it ..... and any future growth and expansion prospects from the asset, during the next growth period
why would they want to do that now .....just because the share price is low ??
Hindy86 How do you see this playing out ?
Rail grinding to a halt.....should be good for NEX
I think the debt is undoubtably seen to be the issue by the markets. Those, like me, who see it as manageable due its structuring and growth in underlying profit and those that don't. Look at SAGA it bounced, TRIPLED, very quickly from its 60p low when they announced selling off a chunk of the crown jewels (insurance arm) to reduce debt. But they were in a more precarious position that NEX with less cover and higher risk. I suspect the same would happen at NEX should they decide at some point that was the way forward.
Cant argue with that. Wish I had.
I hope you get your £2
I'm not short, don't do shorting, never have & have no interest.
I'm 100% in cash on the sidelines right now, there are plenty of stocks on the floor atm but I'm not tempted primarily because of the Ukraine situation which I think could get a lot worse possibly direct conflict with nato. Scary prospect that would destroy the markets. I'm staying out.
£1.10 is more likely than £1..
GS, your view is certainly an extreme one. I hope you hold the short, if you have that position, until it reaches 50p as that will help a little in any bounce. My view is that the end is in sight and end of July will mark the turning point. To balance your view, mine is that it will be close to £2 by March.
Fade it down all day then a small bounce of the lows around 102 would be nice
That’s what I want whether I get it or not is upto the market 😁
I have had Manz in the green bin for months can not back up what he post on Nex BB
not worth the time
"give your deramping a rest"
Err, i haven't posted here for months..
And regards my "deramping" i strongly suspect this will bottom out significantly below £1, probably around 50p. That's my view and I'm entitled to post it. And i do believe debt is a major problem and i do believe it's the primary reason why the share price is in terminal decline. Those are my views and I'm entitled to post them. Filter if you're underwater so much that you can't handle even the smallest of criticisms.

You are right. However, although the commitment was made, their mission clearly states 0 emission bus fleet by 2030. There is a lot of time to save up during the desperate times and spend when issues are over. First group on the other hand spent 35 million on the electric bus order. You make a great point but I believe that the near 200 million pounds spending on dividend and the large bus order was dictated by them and it could have been delayed a bit or slowed down. In the end, I believe that this company has a lot of potential and will never back down as it is the largest public transport operator in the UK and Spain along with many services across the globe and its downfall would mean a lot of pressure to the public transport industry amidst the cost of living crisis
@manz
Why you are digging on paddy?
Regulars are around just fed up keep saying the same stuff over and over again.
Company fundamentals did not change, debt is manageable, and shorts increased and keep depressing sp down further in the s**** market as it is.
Rails go on strike again, bonus for nex…
Besides all above it’s depressing to see NEX at these levels.
Some of you also believe in the company and sticking around but talk garbage to break some to sell so you will pick their shares at cheap cheap rate…
Repeat of yesterday? start lower, build to a +2-3p midday then finish lower.
I think if you are waiting for £1 you may as well buy the stock now.
Reminds me of when the bears were saying that USDGBP was going to parity. And the low was 1.05
PS. High debt in the price. Maybe not in the sentiment, but in the price. This stock will gap up 20%+ in one day and you wont be able to buy it. Can't wait for it to turn.
Akasm: they also payed 4 times more that amount investing in a new electric bus fleet for NEX west midlands. Why would management spend money on dividends and 300 new electric buses if they believe that they are really desperate for cash?
there is a policy of no new diesel buses for West Midlands Travel since 2020. That must have been one of those ESG commitments made that may come back to bite. The CAPEX for electric buses is huge and they will be subsidised
we shall see
In the mean time they are running some very old (near 20 year old) buses
When this drops the regulars go very quiet as they know they look ridiculously stupid by keep saying it is the shorts trying to make money. I'm sure Paddy is feeling the pressure as disappeared from his 30 posts a day to zilch yesterday and probably today
