Any word on the investigation? Should be able to release since there are no future resolutions.
Under the rules delisted companies cant be held in an ISA. Your broker will likely move your shares out of your ISA account into your dealing account shortly. You can leave them there or get them sent to you in certificate form. Then its all a waiting game to see if we ever get anything back. Im not expecting anything but if we do then its likely to be +2yr minimum in my eyes.
Why ? Can you explain please thanks
you'll need to transfer them into a standard stocks and shares account.
Does anyone really know what's going on here I have my shares in a Isa , are there any ways of contacting someone to give us updates on another aim casino smoke and mirrors dilemma ??? Any info appreciated thks
Now we sit and wait to see what happens with the business and the legacy issues and the rescue plan. No point in wasting time worrying, as distressing as it may be. Time to move on and hope for a relisting OR cash return at some stage in the future.. ATB
Hi Guys, could you add me to the facebook group please, I have a £5000 holding in New World....Lee Dibsdale
Thanks for your help No it's a very small amount, sounds like it was a bit of a glitch of some form or bad timing when I checked.
Did you have it in an ISA? If so it would move out of that into your normal dealing account as delisted shares cant stay in your ISA. You still hold shares in the company until:- 1. Its liquidated and funds returned to the share holders 2. Company is declared bankrupt Thinks are progressing in the background and not all is lost but it all hinges on the legacy issue being resolved with minimal or no impact. It looks like we will have a convertible loan in Bigsofa so assuming the shares do well when they come to market we could potentially be worth a lot but there are a lot of ifs and buts.
As a relative novice and the first time experiencing a delisting I noticed last week the holding disappeared from my ii account only to return today. Any knowledge as to why this would happen would be greatly received thanks
I think the FB group I posted in defunk, sorry guys.
I think you are right in your assumption, however its worth contacting your broker for clarification I might be that you receive funds directly from the company (if the share register is up to date)
Just had a letter from Hallbrook to qualify for compensation from MDC. I bet NEW will be on there list next.
Bit sad I didn't sell my holding when I could but I only have myself to blame for that. However, I am now left with some worthless, unlisted shares held in a nominee account. (Beaufort). Obviously I do not hold the certificates. What will happen if they make a pence/.pound payout ? Do they notify the platform who will then send me the money or should I be taking some kind of action
I've applied to join the group . Thanks Rich
due to delisting, I'm also using blueshare where there's a NEW chat board.
? you could use one of the 'general chat' boards on lse?

Croth makes a fair point - when delisting is completed then shareholders will only be able to meet officially at the AGM (or EGMs if called). I suggest someone starting a facebook or twitter account for New shareholders then that would be a way to continue sharing news, thoughts, pain etc
I expected this page to be blank today as we're leaving the AIM. I assume the end is nigh and we'll lose contact? If so, what's the best way/place post aimexit to keep an eye on what's going on, read updates from you guys etc (I read several times a day and value - some of !! - your opinions and info and only rarely talk back) ? Or do companies only disappear from here when they go completely bust?
his sums up what is happening perfectly. Only time will tell if we do get anything back or not.
Footie that's were your wrong there is still money and the loan. When there is a bankruptcy notice then Ill assume the money has gone.
Shame Tony... you were warned many times though... chose to sit on your ears, whilst wearing 'rose tints'! No-one to blame except yourself... you was the chief ramper here for a considerable time. My sympathy goes out to the 'newbies' you were able to convince.
