I don't think anyone knows just yet JG68.
If JPM Morgan's recent price target of 470p two days ago is anything to go by then you would think they need to be talking numbers between where we are that number.
CVC know this share price has been artificially depressed of late so happy to sit and wait for numbers to start to appear.

What is the conditional offer though?
How are they pricing this now? Guesswork!!
Offer will have to be big enough to tempt these sticky holders.

Was in the papers a few months ago, no RNS, I mentioned it on here
The Emirate of Dubai has also got over 5% stake
Anybody got the initial press speculation that led to the RNS?
I will settle for £5 for a nice profit, put up with these games being played for 2 years now always in the red
Be interesting when US opens
Netw has made highly decent expansion progress throughout the pandemic and thereafter with continued growth.
You would think it will have to be nearer £4 to £5 for it to be taken to some of the major shareholders here with the likes of Mastercard and BlackRock as Investors.
Was mooted at 500 earlier in the year, surely a figure has been discussed , what's the offer
No idea ,we wont know until an offer is made but I hope at least 360p,lets see the shorts burn first
Not seeing any price mentioned.
Any idea jcb?
The Board of Network notes the recent press speculation regarding a possible offer for Network and confirms that it has received a preliminary and conditional proposal from CVC Capital Partners Limited ("CVC") and Francisco Partners Funds ("Francisco Partners") (together the "Consortium"), regarding a possible offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Network (the "Proposal").
Nobodys complaining
Up nearly 20% in a flash ,no idea why yet
Problem is there is such low volume here, not many PIs, so the sp can move significantly on little volume.
I keep saying, wrong place to be listed
Agree I have held for 2 years only to see a third of my capital gone again apart from the ones I sold at a small profit.Looks like it is a waiting game until next T/Cant wait until I can dump them
On the plus side, the lower it goes the more they remove from the market when buying back.
Cannot argue with any of that.
Thought this is supposed to be a growth stock!!
Beats profit forecasts, SP drops
Share buyback SP drops
Lots of shorts SP drops
Sort it out IR, clearly your strategy for shareholders value / returns is not working
I agree can not see how after all these months the buyback has helped stop the decline of this share. I know the markets are not particularly strong but Time for a re think
Problem here is the daily volume is so low that lots of algo sells can lower the price significantly, and there are probably very few PIs who trade this.
It's supposed to be a growth stock but imo it's listed in the wrong place.
Compared to it's us peers it's undervalued and to be honest a cash cow. I hope it gets bought out and then shareholders wouldn't have to suffer the ridiculous price movements by UK mms.
Buying these shares back is achieving nothing for the average shareholder.
You're probably right. But for me the P/E is still too high - I might be tempted to come back in if the sp falls to around 200. Until then, there are other more promising opportunities IMO.
