@kofk, check the app, the last time I looked the VR feature on mobile had been removed.
Nice start to the week at 1.67% spread, in my opinion there is no reason for retraction only forward momentum, have a great week everyone! GLA
Rikki you can utilise the VR element of our app via your mobile phone and you will soon be able to utilise it through the Napster tv app as well by rotating the camera using the remote control arrow buttons and switching hotspots as well - why do you constantly misunderstand that the VR aspect of this company is purely via a headset when it isnt? Stop misrepresenting things you dont understand its embarrassing to read! The VR aspect of our product merely adds an interactive element to every performance via any media you choose to watch it on and if youd bothered to even test the product then youd know this adds a huge dynamic and personalised experience to every gig you watch in comparison to a boring traditional static filmed 2D performance.
In general VR is being used, however this doesn’t mean it’s being adopted by the general public in sufficient numbers to support the VR product MelodyVR was seeking to capitalise on ‘yet’! However, they have developed sufficient products to attract partnerships and investment, they have demonstrated the capability to produce experiences and concerts, now they have the platform‘Napster’ to build out an infrastructure and and multi-experience platform! IMO GLA
Hi Albert very good win for us :)
Lets hope its more good news next week !!

Great to see the company taking action! GLA

MelodyVR ahead of the curve! IMO
Onwards and upwards, Lord.
Lingard was a steal. Bit like Melody is !
interesting figures maxdba.to my superficial gaze they suggest plenty of scope for improvement .that's not a negative thought, as scope for improvement is exactly what you want when acquiring a new business.just my layman thoughts.
According to alexa.com the page rank for napster.com has risen in the last 90 days

Its probably a good thing
indeed albert.let us hope that is correct.
Yes Italian, and he still has those outstanding 44 million plus options, which I agreed with you, are likely to be treated as set out in the 2019 financial report.
There is no evidence that he has sold any. If he did, then as he is a 3 per cent plus shareholder there would have to be an RNS.
If/when JG can get his shows back on the road, then really, why wouldn't the partnership continue? There is no reason for it not to. Everything would just happen 18/24 months later than originally planned.
Well speculation runs both ways , i have read some of the news and there is a very very strong commitment from JG , i cant see JG changing course , we would have seen other news by now if that was the case , as Albert has always stated and the Lauren Read post confirms no filming :) may be some testing for a positive thought :)
yes interesting albert and LF that she is the Chair.not reading too much into it,but if we get through the next phase and we have an updated major shareholder list with gore unchanged then i shall feel that despite no mention in the LD he is still involved in a positive sense. actually reading that article makes me feel more confident of his continuing involvement.trying to avoid confirmation bias but of course I'm only human.
A small bit of hope Lord, in that they are looking towards Autumn, although it doesn't mention JG specifically. It's as good as we can hope for right now, though.
Absolutely they are still in the mix. Whoever suggested otherwise (?!?). Certainly not you or me.
With Lauren Reid our COO as chair of the Broadway League, we are in good hands. Great find of yours a couple of months back when this was announced.
https://broadwaynews.com/2021/02/08/new-broadway-league-chair-lauren-reid-on-the-work-ahead/
Albert your spot on no filming from JGO yet , so still in the mix imo . they will need to push the VR once up and running to help with the small audience numbers :)
Of course ...attractive - its not as no one likes watching concerts shows via VR - this may change when hardware improves
Hi BR,
Agreed they play the ‘tune’ for the large investors, it’s a long game share this one with in my view big players aligning, I’ve not read any negative comments from any CEO or director from a partner nor have I read any hint we have ended partnerships.
The Napster name causes discussion associated with disruption it’s perfectly placed for maximum exposure, as in one of the previous RNS’s they have increased the amount of experiences, when they are permitted, I’m sure they will be adding. Nikki is also behind the subtle releasing of material into the news, we have a good team who know how to plug a product, it’s a matter of ‘when’ not ‘if they release the full library, I have a feeling it will be before the end of the summer! IMO
Hi mel5
Last year everything was delayed globally.
As for results, a company can release revenue anytime, even forward revenue guidance, projections etc.
There are 2 things - running a business and playing the gallery (market) and MVR dont know how to play the market but that's ok with me if everything else is ok.
Then if they start releasing figures to please the market then it has to be sustained.
Biggest shareholders here are founders and Institutional Investors, so its odd for me to say that they dont care for shareholders.
Figures will be better than last year and that's the story for any growing Tech
How much expenses will go down, that's difficult to gauge if the company keeps evolving and integrating newer services it will probably never go down - so I will be happier with higher customer engagement
Tech is expensive
After Metallica themselves fell foul of the napster-inspired legislation
embers i think you have to consider that new customers are created all the time. provided our offering is sufficiently attractive it can, and i hope will, in effect take potential spotify customers off them by them choosing us instead.only time will tell of course.
morning LF,ORLM and mel.thanks for your responses.appreciated. i don't think i can take it any further without sight of the actual documentation implementing the agreement, which I'm not going to get lol. im not bothered about the principle of the CLNs at all, as agree with LF that ,in effect, they are relatively small beer and what matters at the end of the day is commercial success. my only query was about the compensation provisions dealing with fall in s./p during what they call the pre admission period as its a bit frustrating that they have tried to explain them but have not done so clearly.obviously inserted at request of the lender to ensure they don't lose out if they seek to convert and s/p falls before admission, which is perfectly reasonable in principle in this type of arrangement.anyway bigger more important things coming up I'm sure.thanks again for replies.
Spotify is brilliant so unless the new app offers significant improvements at lower cost I stand by comments - we won’t motivate people to leave Spotify .
Hi Italian,
I’m no expert, however the statement below I believe sets out the way forward
The investment will comprise the subscription of 648 Loan Notes, each having a nominal value of £10,000 and £6.48 million in aggregate. The Loan Notes will be subscribed for by the Investor in 12 tranches of £540,000 at the Company's request, each tranche not to be more than 21 days apart, during the course of the Commitment Period.
Every month going forward the investor can either have shares or repayment!
The first loan payment being converted to shares demonstrates the confidence in the company, it’s an instrument for cash flow purposes.
I don’t see a problem, this assists the cash flow on a month by month basis, with incoming revenue the share price increases we all benefit!
A short-term view would be the investor gets discounted shares, however looking at the portfolio the investors have I believe there is synergy in the portfolio! IMO
