One of the the most astonishing accomplishments of the corporate media in the last decade is presenting ISIS as the good guys in Syria.

In his 'truth' Trump also mentions trade with Russia.

Trump talks about a ceasefire imminently, although that's probably just bluster.

Trump has posted on 'Truth' to say Zelensky should agree to Putin's offer of talks.

(Trump's not being entirely consistent lol)

Strong rumours that arch war-monger Mike Waltz has been fired from the Trump administration. (Even suggestions he'll be replaced by Steve Witkoff, which would be awesome for peace.)

Regarding the stated Russian Terms:

1) 'Demilitarisation' can mean all sorts. Russia is not stopping Kiev having an army.

2) Although NATO is ruled out, other security guarantees are not. Russia has in fact suggested other arrangements, just not USA-centric ones.

As may have been already mentioned, Sergei Lavrov made comments today suggesting a deal is close (which I find slightly surprising, but he should know)

Quick reminder that Kiev had been bombing the heck out of 'east Ukraine' since 2014. Unsurprisingly the people there don't want to be part of Ukraine anymore. Russia is doing what the Donbass wants.

America recognises Crimea as part of Russia via tweet (or 'truth').

As has been reported by the New York Times, when 'Kiev' launches a missile, it's controlled by Americans using American targeting systems. In reality it's an American attack.

Trump can pull the plug whenever he feels, but within weeks we'd get a 'Afghanistan withdrawal' situation, and Trump would be blamed, so in the first instance I'm sure he'd prefer something more graceful.

Btw, the U.S. has given billions to Kiev and alot of that has ended up in Zelensky and his friend's pockets. I'm sure Trump has gathered evidence of this now. Very interesting to note it was Scott Bessent, the money guy, who was sent to see Zelensky a few weeks ago. He was there to find where the money had gone. I'm sure this information could be used to 'pressure' Zelensky.

It takes some impressive mental gymnastics to suggest that a company being well- funded is a *bad* thing.
