Thought my 3k top last week at 3.05 was a steal. gla
Always a good sign when you’re around Milly1984, the tree shaking last week is usually a sign of a rise. GLA
Could be a good opportunity to get in low as after this week the company will change forever and in my opinion get better an better as the days go on
I agree to some extent BA, artist pushback would be a catalyst. The challenge in starting a revolt though is probably a fear of being frozen out by the labels. Labels have conflicts of interest with their investments and money talks. Pressure will just cascade down from the top. I think many artists just adopt a 'better the devil you know' mentality at the moment.
I can't remember who posted it (possibly Mel), but there was a link to an article the outlined the reasons why Universal should cash out of Spotify this year before Spotify develop too much of a monopoly by 2030. If something like that was to happen, it would be interesting to see what comes next. That could be a more productive time for some higher profile artists to have their say - when the MNCs have their power conflicts.
You would hope that as soon as our name changes to Napster that the Seattle branch will be all over the US with a massive media push , when i mention Napster to my friends/family they nearly always smile , Napster will be given the time of day by the Americans , going to be very interesting how the US takes the Napster re-birth .
I was hoping for another appointment for someone to oversee business change
I think Apps can be updated these days relatively easily so regardless of how it looks - I would like the app to be launched as soon as possible really as opposed to how it would look
Curtains opening on Theatre should bring in some news - thats assuming everything else is ready to start showing concerts live -
if Napster can increase its share by 20% with video etc addition by MVR
then just American Market is enough for us
if artists start a social campaign then its a huge scandal
what Napster offers compared to others per stream etc
from metoo, black lives matter and everything else, i think the next agitation should come from artists - of course i say that for my personal benefit
Everyone one knows I am a LTH. yes this share couldn't fail like any other AIM share, but imo unlikely. There's always a possibility of further dilution and a change in direction. I believe there will be difficult and stressful times ahead but if everything should works then future will be bright.
I don't know what rikkitikki stance is. all he does is go on and on and on with his pompous very large posts, if you don't sway to his opinion, he'll call you and start a new line of pompous discussion. He regularly use his other accounts to make out he is something special and knows what he is talking about.
At least with Codey we knew what we were dealing with, comeback Codey.

Hi Henry
I must agree with you , Melody have paid out of their own pocket for the previous shows and they hold the licence agreements , sorry i couldn't find this to copy and paste , we also have to look at the offer as a whole and i cant see how it can be called short term , i have no idea how this App will look , but as you say in real/live gigs ( soon hopefully ) its very cheap to set up and even cheaper to sell the shows world wide , this again looks attractive to Singtel and JG will understand this , i also believe in this fairer to all business approach which is very deeply stated in the Rns . a break through will be the Asian Artists on the new Napster App . imo , all in hand :)
Hobitt "Why would anyone move away from Spotify £14.99 family price when Napsters like $19.99" because when you do the conversion gbp to usd the price is the same and Napster will offer more and gives more
as a counterweight to all the speculation (my own included )I've been having a look at the admission document again, with particular reference to page 19 and live nation.i think it is absolutely clear that if the LN partnership was not still fully in place (whatever its terms and nature) they could not have written about it in those terms. to have done so would have been totally misleading. of course something could have happened in the meantime, but it would probably have required a formal RNS if the fundamental nature of the partnership had changed. on a different point we still await the appointment of Lansing Davis to the board. melody are to use "commercially reasonable efforts to install.....as soon as reasonably practicable". assuming that the appointment can be achieved by simple directors' resolution, without the need even for a meeting of the board, i am a little surprised it has not happened yet. i do not know whether the phrase "reasonable commercial efforts" has any substance, or whether it is simply pleonastic padding. most probably they are planning to tie up all the loose ends at one go with the name change etc, but on the face of it i am slightly puzzled as to why the appointment has not been made. not suggesting it is anything untoward or even signifiant, as we have nothing to base a view on. just pointing it out.
Not yet, only in the US given the reduced EU demand. I spoke to Amazon customer service a few weeks back and the response was that they will pass the message on to their technical integrations team as a future development.
Hobbit keep it real ?? whats coming from Napster will be hitting all brilliant avenues ----- why are you invested if you cant see this .
There seems to be a lot of talk about the app coming out that will be revolutionary and a complete game changer etc.. you need to remember that just launching a new app wont automatically bring people.. Why would anyone move away from Spotify £14.99 family price when Napsters like $19.99 for a parent and child. You can have the best app in the world but if your marketing or price point is off you can forget all about new users. So if they have this money to bring out the new app... where does the money come from to market it?? Again I see a further dilution or fund raise probably not far away to the app launch. A fairer system is certainly a great way for the stars to advertise but I see no evidence of this at all.

If we are doing business with JG , there could be an easy Asian path :) imo , you would think that Singtel would have read and understood the JG RNS and possibly had a conversation ??
Hear hear Albert! Couldn't agree more with your last comment, it was messy but was a necessary evil caused by an accountancy screw up during the Napster raise. We knew another raise was needed from the resubmission document and now it's done so can we stop crying about the cln issue and get back to focusing on why that money was needed- to build an app that is going to revolutionise the music industry - that dont come cheap. Melody may have been guilty of going after something they couldn't quite afford, but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, they now have the necessary finance in place albeit not in the perfect manner we would have hoped, but boy is the next year going to be sensational now! Sellers beware the bottom is in and the ride up is gonna be rapid when it commences!
Makes you wonder what else will be added to the App , how far it integrates with our partners systems .

fingers crossed this information is ahead of the App release via RNS :)
Yes Lord. It's wiped out the SP's good performance the last two days of last week.
It's coincided with the fundraise RNS. But apart from the fact it was complicated and looked messy, I can't see what was wrong with it.
They've got the cash they wanted - in double quick time- so now they can get on and use it for the app.
It was just the perception of it, including the MMs.

this App in the 4Q must be something very special , its going to be very groundbreaking imo as other posters have stated , it would be easy to do if it was just bringing the Melody/Napster App together , i know its been a terrible week for us all but i can see light now :) GOOD LUCK TO US POOR LTH !!
NASDAQ looks odds-on but surely they have to get the new app done first.
And a take out further down the line. Spotify have to be in the frame. IMO for several reasons.
Your right , Napster may need a year of trading to hit the NASDAQ criteria imo . but i do believe we will be going at some point .
will we be bought out before ??
I would have thought if were where going into the US ,it would be after 25th Feb 2021.
If you have a look on stocktwits.com , $NAPS was the identity’s code Napster
my recollection is that it is the ticker for the shares on the OTC market in US.it was was the source of considerable unfounded speculation some time ago.best to ignore it imo.happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.
Who is EVVRF Melody VR group Plc, is it the same as MVR im confused....which doesn't take much.
As a music fan and shareholder I've been using Napster for a few months and I think the music selection up there with Spotify for the U.S. Market. I do find occasional omissions though (the new album by The Staves is at 13 in the UK charts and that's not on it.) I don't find the the user interface attractive though.
As they get more revenue I'd hope artists would start promoting the use of Napster.
