38 trades today already. Last week there were 3 or 4 a day. So, yes, agreed. Something is going on here. I've been tracking this over the last month waiting to buy in to MTEC and subsequently bought in yesterday. Up until then MTEC had 3 or 4 trades a day.
e.g. 8 Aug 1 trade,
9 Aug 4 trades,
10 Aug 3 trades,
11 Aug 3 trades.
Then, yesterday the action started with some chunky buys and today there have already been 38 trades including some HUGE value trades. As you say, something brewing....
Good luck, Brighty
Something brewing here, FTSE down 1.5% and MTec up 12.1%.
Some interesting news in the pipeline? Someone is keen to load up.
Lift off and some interesting large trades, 530K & 430K.
As our CEO recently acquired 890K shares I’m starting to wonder how much freefloat is left?
Could move up very quickly.
Fuse is ready to be lit
To get going today. Plenty of buyers.
Shocking !!
Anyone else seen the RNS today giving directors awards for their efforts last year and this year ?
If it was a plan connected to the SP we might be getting some money back.
How can they seriously be given awards on their performance?
I am flabbergasted.
Director buy for me was the signal to buy this time.
Looks like it’s stirring here.
Surprisingly though there still appears to be an unfinished seller, when the price was showing 17-18 on Friday I picked up stock at just over 17.2p, as did others looking at the live trades.
Ah, forgot to mention that clearly he was NOT the block buyer, who bought more than him yesterday
Perhaps he just feels the company is very undervalued at this level, and thought it was a good use of his cash. Bear in mind this was IPO at £1.22, in which he sold controlling interests, so to buy back at 17p is pretty decent. Scanning down the RNS, this appears to be his first purchase since offloading at the IPO. The company has not raised funds since IPO. I take the purchase as very welcomed and demonstrates the upside potential from here. The SP forecast I have from the IC platform for next 12 months is 40p, so effectively doubling his money (and mine!). If there is news in the pipeline then great, but I expect a company like this always has news in the pipeline. GGG, they already preferred suppliers to the government as far as I can tell!
Maybe there is more than a new deal on horizon.
Takeover or merger perhaps..
That’s a lot of skin in the game.
I wonder if they know about being preferred supplier on a huge order. As block buying to probably from others. I work in software and you know when you got a deal coming in.
Massive upside. Interesting how large his holding is now. Clearly knows the numbers for September. Strong
Given the quantity of stock that was bought today, I am surprised the bid didnt move up. I think it is a buy, most of the 200's were below this price.
Was held steady all. If it was a sell then it’s cleared and can now move properly up given the volume of buying. Buy then it’s filled and again can move freely.
Let’s look out for possible further tr1 tomorrow
Monster trade, pretty sure it’s a buy as I’ve been dummy selling throughout morning on 10k to check those other trades. I was getting 16.55-75 to sell. So pretty confident it’s a buy.
Oh hello. That’s over 0.5% company in one trade. Was banging through at same time as those 200k.
Huge buying volume! Someone is keen.
Now 7x 200k. That’s near enough 1% of company. So tr1 expected you’d think
Agree with that 6x 200k this morning hammer d through within 15 mins.
There are at least 3 stake builders here too, all of these have increased since April.
Sarasin & Partners LLP 5.41%
CRUX Asset Management 5.05%
Stonehage Fleming Investment 5.04%
% of AIM Securities That Is Not In Public Hands --- 42.27%
One thing is for sure, is that when the next news drops, there wont be many shares sub 20p IMO.
Seems unusually large this morning.
It appears someone is accumulating in 200 & 100K chunks.
A lot of the stock is held so freefloat is tight, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this move up quickly.
I note that Sarasin & Partners, recent institutional investors on the 19th June, have been added to the Major shareholders on the MTec website.
