News soon via RNS on this....March....
The Company's subsidiary, Karanja Terminal & Logistics Private Limited ("KTPL"), has entered into a contract (the "Contract") with Rudra Marine Services (RMS), a Mumbai based, trading and stevedoring company, which handles coal and other bulk cargoes for various end customers. The Contract is for an initial period of five years and MPL is expected to handle approximately 2-3 million tonnes over the next 36 months. RMS is scheduled to commence using the facility in March, with there being a significant ramp up of operations from September 2021 onwards.

It will go to 2p in a very short time. It cannot be under penny for long now.
Has ££ written all over it, ..albeit in the future...but not too far away, IMHO.

My pleasure GF. Agree with your theory that they are in the process for getting clearences for karanja creek for later. It makes sense as environmental clearences take ages in India. Hopefully, we will be in a more advanced situation where we can afford to expand by the time clearence happens.
Ah, thanks for that information dump! I'm reading between the lines then that they're looking to expand Karanja Port further into Karanja Creek (this was confirmed already) and that this is a paperwork exercise related to that. Furthermore, their paperwork is lined up for it, but they haven't actually started the job.
That makes sense what with the first port not making a profit yet and covid wrecking lastyear's plans. Still, it's nice to know that they have ideas for further business growth.
1p is a good start, once we get over a penny we're on our way...

It should go up now from this level. Looking for 1p+ before another contracts land.
Would be good if they looking at placing a FRSU on station there, very close to Qatar and the power from these vessels would service the whole area. Frsu now popping up everywhere.
add 'http://' to the beginning of each link.
GF:
Application for expansion was made in december 2019/jan 2020 by the looks of it:

Details of the application are as follows:

section C of the application looks interesting.
I certainly expect there will be an update. They have updated from time to time for the past decade, but i'm just trying to piece together what's going on after that last update. Working out what work isn't started is proving harder than I thought!
That's ok mate, always tricky on a phone to get it word perfect, been there many times before...good post and it sums up my feelings on the stock. I've said before...buy and hold, as Warren Buffet sometimes says ...some people just dont want to get rich slowly...anyway hold for gains, I'm holding long term and that's several years for me, imagine having bought into a stock at under a penny and in a few years it's worth pounds...

Sorry, must apologise for the terrible grammar and spelling in the last post but I'm currently at work and messaged on on my phone. (you can't edit these posts either!) The main point I was making that in the the last line of the RNS Jeremy Warner Allan states "I look forward to updating the market as we close further contracts with pipeline customers throughout the course of the year" GLA
Jeremy Warner Allen, Chairman of Mercantile Ports said, "I am very pleased that we have entered into two long term contracts with customers who have carried out significant due diligence over a number of months on various port and logistics facilities in the region and came to the conclusion that the Karanja facility provides modern infrastructure that will aid in the growth of their respective businesses. These contracts highlight the important part that Karanja can play in the growth of Maharashtra and the neighbouring region.
Just re-read tbe last RNS. MPL are working hard to grow and develop this port. Yes there have been problems but they are working them through. As i sad ive sold shares before and regretted later when the price shot up. This is a hold for me. The management are well placed and have contacts in the region and the first shoots of growth are coming through. This could be a share that you wish you had bought into years from now. But that is my own opinion. There will be investors who have made lost a lot in the past but could be a share to watch in 2021. Ive just bout more!

"I am also pleased with the progress being made with the Tata-Daewoo Contract announced previously. I believe that this clearly demonstrates our facility's importance to the region. Over the last few months, we have significantly strengthened our business development team and I look forward to updating the market as we close further contracts with pipeline customers throughout the course of the year".
Seeing as I apparently can't post links, to find it, google "Karanja terminal", specify hits within the previous week. It's hosted on the domain of forestsclearance .nic .in
I found this document certifying that "Works have not been started...for the purpose of proposed expansion of multipurpose terminal at Karanja creek".
I don't suppose anyone could share any context on this?
I found it by typing "Karanja Terminal" into google and specifying hits only within the previous week.

They have spent that last 10 years working on construction of the ports and spent over £75m.
It’s the time for fruit, first revenue was last year, and now more to come.
Expecting this to be £1 in a very short time (1-5 years), Yeah £1 easily, just read last 10 years RNS and do your research.
I invested only around £4K few days ago now im going to invest alot more.
It’s normal to consolidate after 130% rise, no worries it will go up now slowly and gradually.
We need to get to 1p first mate, in a year or two this isn't going to be a cheap share. That's my thoughts anyway...give time ....time and this could really fly..

Nothings changed here Rome wasnt built in a day. I wouldn't be surprised if we got more news soon and this will easily jump over 1p and beyond. Anyone who sells might miss the boat, quite literally! Great time to load up :-)
Where have all the 5p, 10p & £1 posters gone?
my buys from this morning still haven't popped up
Bid now 0.73
just very odd share movement on this one makes me feel a big order is going on in the background.
