Hardly any volume today , could be a good sign that we have levelled out for now , everyone waiting for the next update it could take us to the next level
We’re do undervalued compared to our peers I can see this heading back to £10 over the next 6-12 months on a positive update
GLA LTH have a great weekend everyone
Yes - its been a pretty poor / awful share to own! Dropping consistently over last few days despite the abundance of optimism out there at the moment! I won't be buying more PERIOD! Looking to offload - and focus on those companies (almost all of my holdings) that are consistently performing.
@nuri
Fair play your choice, up to your call if you want to offload. Would you mind to share of your lucky performed holdings?
Nuri....stop keep talking about it and sell ffs.
You only ever post on red days.
I’m £125k up. Best performing share in my portfolio.
You bought at the wrong time. You didn’t average down.
Boohoo.
Missing you already.
Obviously bought at the high end, seems rather disappointed , unlike the few other who have rode this all the way from £2 levels, im very happy with the way Micro Focus is heading , with all the new deals , more customers coming on line each day, this will all flow through to the bottom line at the end of year results, another Dividend payment will definitely be on the cards , IMO
GLA LTH Roll on the next quarterly results early May
agree with mattyboy
this is probably the best share to own at this time, ridiculously undervalued, ridiculously low share price, yes even at £5.40.
this should be trading at £10-£12 now ... next trading statement in less than 4 weeks will be the arbiter of £6 or £10 short term, i know what my money is on (quite literally)
risk bias is very much to the upside.
I think THE most important issue now is reversing the revenue decline.
We have already announced that revenue decline is reducing and that was during a global epidemic.
That makes me think that as particularly the US opens back up that we will see surprisingly good figures.
Then factor in AWS (£300m minimum) and Snowflake revenues and I see positive growth in revenues within 12 months.
Positive revenue growth will stick a rocket under the SP.
the REAL clue to all that was the resumption of dividend, they could have paid a chunk more, but have , wisely, waited..
the next statement will be interesting on a number of metrics, i anticipate strong buying ahead of this statement.
just my opinion of course !!
Also...short positions reduced from 5% to 1.5% recently. If the company is doing so terribly they would be all over this like a rash.
MCRO always holds up well when it 's ex-dividend.
Sign of a good company.
That 2.12% divi looked real nice.
@Nuri123a the only thing not performing here is your trading. Lets not blame MCRO for your own failings. It's performing great for most of us
Not everyone was fortunate enough to pick these up in the 200/300s, it's easy to read everyone's optimistic forecasts on these boards, but fact is this is on a downward trajectory since 30th March despite the results and fabulous news about AWS.
It’s the transfer of shares from the impatient to the patient.
That's actually incorrect - you cannot gauge a SP trajectory by a couple of weeks movement. We are still in an upwards channel which has been in place since December & whilst support at 520 didn't hold, we'd need to see the SP drop below c.485 to see this fail. Very short term - not good (agreed - didn't expect this drift but volume is pitiful), but medium term, nothing as yet has changed.
