MB10 Big news, another kpop festival or an additional night at Frankfurt maybe? Now would be the ideal time to announce a new date before the last two acts are announced. They may be the biggest names yet!
Regarding Lego buyout it would be small change to them to buy bricklive and a great addition to Merlin sites. Lego could grow the brand much more quickly than lvcg and it would fit with DC’s retirement plans. If it comes off (imo only it will) shareholders could be due a series of special dividends.
We’re close to selling out! Some more big news is coming… ??

The bands they are amassing for the kpopflex are top notch, with over 50 million social media followers between them. And those KPOP fans are just nuts for their favourite groups. Especially merchandise. Have a look at the light sticks which are a must for every festival goer, the mark up must be pretty high and with a captive audience to seek to.
But one of the biggest points is the diversity of regional interest of the groups. Mamamoo for example is big in Japan, Monsta X and NCT dream are big in USA. That bodes well for streaming revenue as well as attracting sponsorship. The talks on streaming are clearly moving to conclusion with confirmation they are discussing with world renowned partners.
KNIGEL for the event in Germany “ Opportunity for multi-year event available on an automatic option for KPE to a maximum of five years” “KPE has the option to extend the festival annually for up to a further four years for no further payments.“
There is clearly a big demand for KPOP in Europe (the first report of ticket sales were from 40 countries) , so it’s unlikely that this will be the only one this year. The funding raised was “To provide funding for the KPOP-FLEX as well as the expansion of the concept” = standby for a 2nd and even a 3rd festival, possibly even more in the future.
We know that the lvcg costs for this are very low. However the company have yet to give any indication in an RNS of how big the revenue for this will be, but some big hints were dropped in the interviews, with figures if £10 million plus for the total revenue for the festival being talked about. Lvcg will get a big share of this, but it’s the streaming revenue potential that can scale up well beyond the festival that is really exciting.
“LVCG owns 50% of KPE. KPE earns revenue via a number of sources including; 40% of sponsorship revenue, 100% of the net profit of event related on-line merchandising, 75% of the net profit of merchandising at the event, 100% of broadcast and streaming rights (ex-Korea), annual consultancy fees of Euro 200,00 and a percentage of the ticket sale profits.”
Surely this concert isn’t going to be an one off - especially if the Germany event is a sell out? LVCG will do well to sign a multi year contract arranging these KPOP events similar to what they have appeared to have done with E-Formula in SA... I have a big holding here but still feel like adding..
That's at least 2 of us who have done the maths and think a significant re-rate is on the cards MB10 :-)
Tickets selling fast. They opened a new block up and it’s sold out already. Also opened up a couple of rows in some blocks, which have almost gone.
Shows there is massive demand here, and that’s in the middle of covid. 2nd night and 2nd KPOP festival looks a certainty IMO, which will very significantly change the performance here.
Everyone thinks this company is going to fail. When the numbers come out and people realise the massive turnaround and the move into significant actual profit this year, there’s going to be a massive rerate IMO.
There is massive interest in kpopflex and the new band. Apparently the final two acts to be announced are the biggest yet, so I wonder if they will put on a 2nd night?

Its straight out of the muppets little black book of how to mislead investors :-)
hah! a first for me :-)
I bought two tranches of shares within a minute of each other at exactly the same price - yet one shows as a buy and one shows as a sell - go figure.
Good to see the ticket sales in black and white, the update on other commercial revenues should be fun :-)
I also note that they are negotiation with world renowned partners for the streaming and merchandising.
" We are delighted to announce a further band for the KPop.Flex festival. Ticket sales are now in excess of 36,000 - we will have to hold back tickets for the announcement of remaining bands. Our conversations with world renown partners for merchandising and streaming are ongoing. We look forward to updating shareholders in due course once these agreements have been finalised. "
Excellent addition of mamamoo to the kpopflex festival. Over 36,000 tickets sold.
astro ?
RNS time soon then.... :-)
Ticket sales should provide a good update at the same time.
Looks like lvcg have secured 2 of the all time best KPOP girl groups for the kpopflex. Quite an achievement.

MB great info , a top doyen
Enhypen are releasing an album. Creates a big demand leading up to the festival. NCT Dream are also doing a TV show in Japan in March, again creates a demand especially for that streaming where we have 100% of the broadcast and streaming rights exKorea.
