Fleccy - I voted against brexit in the last referendum and will vote against it in the 2nd referendum, which is just around the corner! - I care a lot about deflecting brexit! Not alone for the UK in general as i believe the UK is better in the EU, but also as I am an European and finally as it presents serious dangers for NI. - EU/Varadkar just want the UK to come up with a viable solution for the NI border, nothing else! Get your head around it please! - You do raise an interesting point about putting an ultimatum to the people of NI. - Finally Fleccy, brexit has already turned into an absolute shambles. The world is watching on in disbelief at the way the UK government is handling brexit. Investment in industry is on hold, jobs leeching out of the country and foreign investors avoiding the UK. - I could go on about the way it will impact the common man; poorer, less rights, poorer quality food for goodness knows where, less heath professional to take care of us when we are ill, fewer jobs as companies will shun the UK, impact on the economy and industry as country will take a massive hit when it is locked out of the EU markets and there is nothing there to replace it... ATB PS: Go to bed tricky. It is past your bedtime and no snoring or I'll put a clothes peg on your nose!
Jay It seems to be a protracted process to join the WTO according to this https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-eu-wto/brexit-advances-at-wto-as-britain-sets-out-new-services-terms-diplomats-idUKKCN1GC2JH ATB

Good post fleccy.
DCB, every time you put your stupid antagonistic comments at the bottom of your posts, you prove you're a spam merchant. Admit it, you don't really give a toss about Brexit do you lol? Here's what really makes me laugh, the EU/Varadkar are trying really hard to ensure a hard border in Ireland. They dismiss any suggestion the UK comes up with and then try and lock the UK into a perpetual customs alignment, with them having a decision whether to release the UK. What I find worrying is that May might have gone along with it, but for Davis threatening to resign. It does seem clear that May/Robins are closet remainers, who try and slip things past without scrutiny, but it always seems to backfire, like it did with the DUP and now Davis. I'm in no doubt that had May won the election convincingly, she would have put the UK into a customs union and no one would have been able to stop her. She fluffed the election and here we are. You say Brexit will fall apart, all I can see is the hardest of Brexit's approaching and it will be the EU's lack of compromise that causes it. If I was May, i'd say to Northern Ireland, sorry we tried, but there's going to have to be a hard border, then i'd give them a referendum on reunification. The way I see things, a referendum would be a win win. If they vote for reunification, it's no longer an issue for the UK, if they vote to stay part of the UK, we can put in a hard border and no one can complain, sorted.

Looks like it going to be tinned fruit from here on also. Nice!
You can see where its leading to,a 2nd referendum but to make it democratic the votes on the 1st one should not be wasted but accumulated with the 2nd so the remain camp have to achieve more votes by 1,269,501-bit like playing in the UEFA Champions League.
Britain has officially applied to join the World Trade Organization's government procurement agreement, a legal step it needs to take to maintain trading relationships after it leaves the European Union on March 29, 2019. Like all member nations our WTO membership in vIa the EU
