We're actually date stamped June so not late.
Limestone business sold to difficult market conditions although royalty on blocks sold.
About £200000 in bank with hopefully more to follow.
New investment made in nxt a innovative building company.
For more details go to the Leed Resources website.
Hope things are working out at last.
Have been out of the loop for sometime with Leeds and just looking for a brief summary on the state of things. Are we likely to get any kind of return at some point? TIA.
Oh well what's £350 when you have so little cash anyway. Business must be really complex that the BOD are having difficulty to complete the accounts in time. We should be thankful to them for all the progress they have made in the last few years as they couldn't have made a bigger mess if they tried.
Now showing on companies house website.
Four days late so £350 penalty but at least filed.
Showing on website some of the pictures are the same as what were on the civex website.
Will be interesting to know what the royalties are on each block sold.
2017 accounts now on Leeds website. Pretty dull as expected. They just waiting to blow the last £200k
Last day to report the annual results and we still have nothing. Look's like the BOD are busy collecting their belongings and turning the lights off.
Fair point.
I hope something good develops from current situation.
Hi Steve,
Would also like to point out the BOD are not very transparent which is a large concern - eg: still no info on how the sale was structured, percentage of royalties etc.
Hi Steve,
From the last RNS - they have not started rolling out the blocks (apparently waiting for the right time - which is always questionable). Hence no royalties.
Money owed from customers unlikely to be paid as per update - some have gone bankrupt.
The only upside from old investment is the grant - but no doubt the BOD have probably messed that up too.
A investment of $50k in NXT is not going to do anything. I've lost all hope with the BOD. The cash left in the bank will probably just be spent on their expenses (at least they had nice holidays in Australia).
Would love to be proven wrong but think it's time to call it a day with this lot.
Good morning to you.
I wouldn't write it off yet.
About 200k in the bank hopefully more to come.
Company the limestone block business was sold to is well established and marketing the blocks on their website.
The nxt investment also looks promising.
Yeap but no doubt it will be the same old eg: circumstances beyond our control but we are really good and working really hard to turn this around etc etc. I think the track record says everything - best to write off.
Tomorrow is filing deadline.
True
Hi BigErn, Can't personally see much happening with NXT given the lack of cash now left at Leeds. Unless they complete an RTO. Thanks
Yes indeed but NXT does look like a decent prospect - time will tell, back in the bottom draw for another 6 months.
Not good news. The board have done the best thing they could and get out with something. Looks aset if the Australian economy is awful at the moment. The new investment is worldwide and they have contracts already started.
useless bunch of pratts , development company ? you are having a laugh , this shower could not develope s.f.a ,
same old for this company ran by useless directors for most of its journey couldnt organise a **** up in a brewery Redmond and the manas coal cock up come to mind A pattern emerging here ...thank goodness they were delisted rather than taking more cash of holders written the small holding off i had left here years ago maybe these so called directors should look for a job they can do like filling the shelves in morrisons what you reckon mr gibbs
Update now on Leeds website - not good as expected.
Good evening to you. We last heard that we had received at least a couple of hundred thousand dollars with more to come. I would like to think they havent spent it on expenses. Very quiet I know but royalties to come and new investment does look as if it has great potential. Their website looks very impressive and they are currently constructing a new hotel in Australia. I would expect news soon to coincide with the annual results which have to be announced and filed at companies house by 30th June, although they were late last year.
Hi Steve Going from past experience when the BOD do not communicate it is usually followed by bad news. The best thing they had do is return whatever little value left back to the shareholders and wind up. Would be happy to proven wrong.
Surprised at lack of news updates etc. As far as we have been told Leed now have at least a few hundred thousand dollars in the bank. The main problem seems to be what they do with it. Accounts due by end of month so would expect some news before then.
Good morning to you. I still look in here most days. Spotted a post and thought news today but not to be. As far as we know money from limestone sale is in the bank with more to come. New investment looks interesting. Hope we hear something positive on the news front soon. I think annual results have to be announced by end of June and filed at Companies House.
