Interesting development. I would hope we would get proceeds of at least 1.68 million dollars. Our investment to date. About 1.25 million pounds or about .003p a share. As for the royalty situation. We have a third of the patent rights so presumably we would still receive a small royalty from each panel sold but not sure on this. Anyway this should be good for the shareholders with about 1.25 million pounds in the bank and ready to invest. We are in effect a cash shell with millions of losses for tax purposes. Could be tempting to some other company. Good luck and a happy and prosperous new year to all Ldp shareholders.
Good news in my opinion but time will tell.
Leed is pleased to announce that Civex Group Holdings Pty Ltd (“Civex Group Holdings”) has entered into a Heads of Agreement with a Western Australian contractor to acquire all the assets of Civex Group Holdings. Leed directly and indirectly (through its shareholding in Battalion International Limited) owns approximately 33% of Civex Group Holdings. As part of the agreement, the owners of Civex Group Holdings will retain a royalty on all sales of panels sold in the future. Final details of the sale and royalty agreement are not yet completed but it is anticipated that a Sale and Purchase Agreement will be signed early in the New Year. The Directors of Leed have come to the conclusion that this is the best possible outcome for this investment as market conditions have precluded Civex from making sufficient headway without the backing of a more substantial partner. The Board is currently reviewing options as to what it may do with the proceeds of the sale of Civex Group Holdings and looks forward to updating shareholders shortly on progress of the sale and future investment opportunities.
Update on leed website, Looks like we are selling the whole company. Not sure how we all will come out of this.
Business still up and running so I am very positive. With what I have invested I have to be. All the best for Xmas and new year.
hopefully get an update very soon, i am feeling quite positive about LDP in 2018.
10k here myself. IMO definitely rto or something similar. These things can take longer than anticipated finance etc has to be in place. Limestone company website looks impressive hopefully sales income increasing. I e mailed the company secretary in the past got a nice reply. You would not get anything price sensitive but you may get something. Although shares are completely suspended so price sensitive information would be meaningless. Hope 2018 sees us get all our monies and more back. I still wonder if the limestone blocks could be patented here in the uk. Always plentbif construction work going on here.
I emailed Charles Zorab back at the beginning of October, and he did say there will be news shortly, but over 2 months on and still nothing.
A update would be nice before end of year. Does anyone have any news ? Keep checking website last updated 21 April 2017
RTO would be outstanding but we shall see what happens next.
I hope so. They are still in business website was updated a short while ago. Shares still suspended from asset match. A buyout reverse takeover relisting would be great but mustnt get greedy. Does make me wonder if the limestone blocks could take off in the uk. Theres plenty of construction going on house building etc. Anythings possible.
Would be great to get a positive update before the end of the year.
Still take an interest in things here. Lets hope the wait is worth it.
Thanks fir that. I thought something may be brewing as the company asked them to suspend the auction. As I said website has been revamped selling blocks to general public etc. Good evening to you and lseking. Lets hope for a big deal that is good for the company and its shareholders. IMO a reverse takeover buyout is the most likely. They could even patent the blocks in the uk.
I had a short e-mail reply from LDP saying Asset is suspended as they have no info for the market but they are working on something and may not need Asset any more. I have no more details than that but it was good of them to give us some update and hopefully it comes off. It is a matter of again sitting tight and fingers crossed that the LDP & Civex guys come up with something positive in the near future.
Spotted that on 18th October. Relisting on aim would be great. Could be plan B. Reverse takeover etc.
Trading has been suspended on asset match, Will this mean we might get relisted? The silence on here is mortal and hope they get up and running soon guys.
Civex website has been updated. Blocks now listed sizes etc so still in business. Looking at wilbinga on maps it is really in the middle of what looks like a desert so potential customers have got quite a drive from Perth the nearest large city about 57 miles. We usually have a builders merchants within a few miles. Although of course they arent selling household bricks but blocks weighing hundreds of kilos. Hope for some trading news soon.
Good to know their is still somebody else still monitoring showing an interest here. I'm not interested in auction. I'm sure there is a plan B as cash will be gone very soon. Still think we will get finance buy the whole company and relist. All imo of course. We need a bit of luck here. Two investments almost two failures.
I think sadly it is probably lack of interest at the moment, not sure anybody will want the shares until we have a 'positive; update or Plan 'B' is put into action.
Seems we may not be on it anymore or just lack of interest. Of course their could be a plan B. Probably only needs a few million to take over the company completely. Could then move production to UK. Just my opinion but anything possible here.
No shares offered or wanted on asset match. Never been like that before. Could a relisting be forthcoming.
Interesting. Worrying that conditions are still far from ideal at the moment. Plan B possible buyout by Leed. Should not be too much trouble to get finance. Could they not transfer the business to the uk. Im sure the new style blocks would take off here. News soon.
Today I finally received a long awaited response from LDPs Charles Zorab, below is his response - Dear M******, I am very sorry that we have failed to keep you in the loop. Despite being delisted, we still take our responsibilities to shareholders seriously. Although the news flow has not been much, we have had a recent one via the annual report. You may not have received one from your custodial agent, but it is available on our website. In addition, we are planning an update shortly. Truth be told, conditions are still tough in Perth and the newly renamed business, Civex, is struggling. Management are hoping trading conditions will improve but are making a Plan B in case they dont! Best wishes Charles I hope this is of use to some shareholders, maybe there might be a small light at the end of the tunnel, but I will not hold my breath.
Managed to find it. The company secretary is Robert Porter. Email address is rporter@leedresourcesplc.com Did take a couple of weeks to reply but was very apologetic. I notice that nothing has been announced confirming that all the resolutions at the agm had been passed. I suppose now that they are no longer listed it is not a requirement to disclose it.
