all clarified in this video, mobilised fleet, initially construction, then after that surface clearing and top soil (top soil in mining will also be sub soil - removed separately and stored separately) then stripping is the next process.

MikB, gets me regularly too lol.
Sorry LAV, crappy predictive text strikes again!
Lavender, I took pre-strip to mean clearing to get to the mineable material and assumed that was why it was after some of the DMS stuff was talked about. Just my interpretation.
Laverda,
Thank you. I'm very relaxed with the timelines. It's going to be an exciting nine months ahead. Hopefully all will go to plan.
Carry on posting your excellent updates.
Sharebug, Bernard mentioned something about top soil so maybe it is surface debris/scrub plant removal and placing topsoil to the side for afterward reclamation work.
Stripping may only be the ground above the veins excluding top and sub soil.
I will listen back through the videos tonight if I get time, but he didn't say a lot about it.
Rickyl... on a still picture you will clearly be able to see the red disturbed earth and tracks from vehicle activity (like you can for the road)... you will be able to clearly see the areas where the civil/ concrete slab will be poured as this will be clearly
red disturbed earth.... also you don't get video satellite images you muppet!
Laverda,
I took it literally as fleet being mobilised. How much fleet and the lead times, I don't know.
Just because they have started doesn't mean everything is ready, but there is clear activity in the DMS plant area and what could that be? For me that means clearing and preparing the site by removing vegetation and leveling the surface and possibly some other preparations. But we cannot see in detail what is happening on satellite images, but there are clearly activities on both Ngoualana and Boumou that originate from KMUK. If the weather conditions allow it, we will certainly see more on the next photo and hopefully also soon photos via Kodal PR.
And there is no doubt that there is still a lot of work to be done in preparation for the arrival of the parts of the DMS plant

Sharebug, yes I was confused about that because pre-strip is later in the year.
I struggle with australian terminology in mining. Is topsoil management part of australian pre strip process or separate?
If they remove nothing then I don't understand what they will be mobilised to do other than construction.
Laverda,
Yes, it was a blue line with circles and dates. The second item on the presentation said "Mining fleet mobilised" in April.
Mattslim, the last presentation has the timeline for each piece of development, I think it was a blue line with circles and dates.
Complete civil designs and commence construction was the target this month. So I don't imagine there will be much to see unless they are a couple of weeks or more ahead of target.
You won’t as it’s a still picture 🤣🤣
I was just looking at satellite image from yesterday, not seeing any ground movement??

Hopefully news of delivery soon! , must be near if they're clearing ground?
It's on the satellite its all being cleared for DMS. Ground construction underway !!!! 🚧👷♂️
