26 p a share sounds like someone needs help when reality hits home.
26p/share Sounds reassuring. Sum-of-parts valuation of between 56p and 84p per share (taking Canon-Redlen acquisition into consideration).
Hope SP will move accordingly
2 x 500,000 buys in a short time. Mean anything?
Equitydevelopmnt posting same over on ADVFN under member name “Edmonda”
Hmmm….
With the equity issue completed, updated research published by ED that covers recent OEM contract wins, a review of the significant opportunity in the huge CT market, and comparison with Redlen takeover.
Pending more detail of the OEM deals, Fair Value still seen at 26p / share.

Basu is on £270K per annum. That's what I've looked up. That's a fortune. Considering how many years he has been at the helm, he probably has amassed quite a small fortune. Now, I wonder where he is investing that money. Many an ISA or funds, but not in his own company - he just bought a small £5k worth of the new placing.
As part of the placing he should offer he should offer to take a salary cut to say £70k which is still vastly more than what most people are on and still a good salary, and take the £200k in shares. That would incentivise him. I'm amazed shareholders haven't already demanded this and for the rest of the management. Get this company profitable, we will pay you a good salary but not a fortune ... Until it's profitable. I can't believe the guy is on £270k. It's a joke.
As for whether it will ever be profitable is the question. They may have great products but if it costs you £100 to make with all debt, research, salaries etc but you sell it at £99 then it's not an investment.
I really hope Kromek proves me wrong as it's a great UK company. This placing should be the last and definitely be profitable after but they have said that before. And the ramping with the good news first, that's shameful.
Too many UK companies just get sold out to Americans. Management taking too much salary and willing to sell at the earliest opportunity. We need people who give a ... about the UK and creating successful profitable companies so people can have jobs here in the UK.
I only wish that Basu exercised the same discipline with corporate capital as he does with his personal finances [allowing significant dilution of his own stake with a piffling uptake of new shares]
I agree Misterh, but there are folk out there wanting to believe what Snake Oil Salesmen tell them. Example Mike33 who seems to think the Kromek COO is the Messiah. He is not he is a very naughty boy.
It's hard to believe that the OO was so heavily oversubscribed when it should be easy to buy in the market well below this in the days to come.
I wonder how long £8m will keep the lights on? Not long given their track record and prodigious cash burn.
Next placing at 0.5p?
Posted this on 11th May. This share is dodgy... very very dodgy... and honestly needs investigating...
"It’s so obvious what’s going on here it’s laughable. They have engineered a rise in the share price to sucker people into the placing and the rampers (strategic investor and his merry men) are out in full force. Once they get the placing through , the share price will collapse below 5p. EXACT same thing happened with covid detector placing."
So Alfonso, sorry Skid what would you like to see exactly happen here? I'm intrigued , you say you've only invested. £5 k here and your many many critical posts here all vague just as the last one...for more than I can remember, would lead one to assume you have a motive...???
Is your dream scenario that the Kmk management throw the towel in next week, and a team of other experts , maybe your mates from your investment house( you did say you worked at a tech invest house) take over, and the share holders are bought out for pennies in the pound..?..
Just as that same management are just striking deals with multi bil dollar global OEMs...you really are insulting the intelligence of everyone here ( maybe rusty nut excluded)
Realise an error on Director purchases, but they are still really immaterial.
Well skid i think the game is up now. Even for your Brighton Hairdresser !!!!
Mike.
With your lack of facts and lack of critical thinking you don't seem like an engineer, more like a Brighton hairdresser whose hit the prosecco after his French bulldog has died and he's crashed his white mx5.
I think you're arguing to yourself on Chinese contracts, yes they are more risky that's why you don't contract multi million deals with companies with no credit where the contract is pay at the end,and then recognise income when you shouldnt. If export guarantee didnt touch it can't be great.
You have said I "made up accounts". This is juvenile stuff, anyone can see easily see in a couple of minutes what I said is correct. As I said an engineer would ask themselves questions on why this is the case.
In most of the recent raises on AIM I have seen directors have put their hands in their pockets, not selling is not a positive signal. The lack of a cfo purchase is telling. The £5k from the ceo is a small proportion of even his c 20% pay increase.
I have seen a lot of investors such as yourself on this board over 4 years who have bought in on promises as the St writeups, only to be down as the share price falls on a lack of execution. You are now down probably 20-30%, as your average is less than mine hopefully you'll be breakeven before me.
Sorry mike33. Unfortunately for you most on here see you as a total fraud. Just like they see KMK bod as total fraudsters. I for one do. Can you explain why you have, and had, such a positive attitude for this company whilst watching the disgraceful slide on this SP which has been happening for years and years.
You’re not real….!
Also while I remember -
when again towards the end of the questions, there was a question about
Board share ownership/ skin in the game etc.
Arnab confirmed all board members have always previously and will this time participate in the funds raise, he also said NO serving board members have ever sold a single share.
I've seen posted on here and elsewhere that Arnab personally has 3 mill+
AQC's fav rant at the mo' over on ADVN
and he inadvertently confirmed that previous serving board members actually held more than the the present ones. although the was trying to make a different point. But that says more that they've held onto their shares I think.
Apols for the spelling errors on the hoof
Well Skid,
all..All...the Chinese stock that you love to mention ...how many times, 30? 40? Is un-delivered and sat in stores, this is on record.
As a man with qualifications (in something) under your belt as you say, are Kromek the only company you're aware of that have had issues dealing with Chinese companies , they are not generally open and straightforward to deal with,
and are more interested in acquiring knowhow and copying tech than being honest customers.
So remind me again why you couldn't be bothered to spend 45 mins if your time to listen to your list of questions that presumably asked after having the phone slammed down on you after demanding email addresses of the boa d of directors....you're stance here is very weird, you think I'm a Kmk employee, don't believe someone who just says Thier an engineer but want me to believe your
Opintons as facts. when you haven't even understood what CZT is, sorry Skid cutting and pasting some lines off made up accounts doesn't cut it with me.
Mike.
I have Welsh rather than Iberian heritage, so if you're having wet dreams of someone with olive skin think again.
The issue I have with China has nothing to do with lockdown. Its about really basic governance and control, if you understood the very very basics you might understand. If you want me to spell it out yet again I can over the weekend ?
Outside the chinese debacle what have they learnt and what has improved since then?
Stock impairments 2020 £616k, 2021 £496k, 2022 £852k
Debtors impairments 2020 £1323k, 2021 £1158k 2022 £1460k
Debt 121+ days 2020 £1973k of £2179 total, 2021 £1,977 of £2,399 total, 2022 £1,346k of £1,458k total
So making stock which no one wants and then has no value, customers who dont want to pay for what KMK has provided them.
hi bestintown,
alfonso (skid ) has gone a bit shy....it seems.
its interesting that for all the endless moaning talk on here by certain posters who repeat thier opinions as fact and slander the management of kmk daily and weekly, ( i think it's only the cleaners who've escaped his ****ging off) even stating here they would love to have the chance to
ask the management all the pages of searching questions they have, when the chance comes they just sadly can't be bothered. why someone would spend years posting on here and not want to hear directly info from the management baffles me.
this is after they've accused the whole management of being, inept, corrupt, stated that kmk aren't actually even manufacturing the right type of czt? .. absolute nuts, and in the case of the chinese equipment in stock, the fact that china has been in permanent lockdown for the last 2 years was an invention solely created by kmk.
arnab arround the end of the questions mentioned when asked of any updates to the chinese stock sounded positive about it, and said he' d been in hong kong last month and was again back in china next week, so make of that what you will. i read that as there's still a reasonable chance of partial resolution and sale of the kit.
plus asia was mentioned i think as one of the tier 2 customers that they were working with.
someone else might remember the exact wording of the reply better than me.
Mike 33, genuinely, I missed the meeting so would you tell me what was said about the Chinese stock?
Remember Notso, the sp of any company will fall once investors find they hold shares in a company that is mere smoke and mirrors..It does not require victims speaking out. The truth eventually becomes an open secret.
Just being honest, Notso, and wanting to save others from falling into the trap we fell into ,of listening to the glib claims coming from Durham.
Oh Skid, there was a question from an Alfonso Skid asking about putting growth before profitability I think.
how many Skids are there out there?
and you missed the update about the Chinese stock then, your favourite moan on here every post all last year and most of the year before.
