Three thoughts. Surely with the gold price having fired up to $2400, you would think finance sign off has became rather more attractive than a few weeks ago. Secondly, the NPV calculations must be looking damn juicy right now. And thirdly, given the discount kefi trades to even NAV's done on $1750 gold... the gearing here is incredible.
IMO about now Kefi should be shooting the lights out. But it keeps slumbering so far...
Or a candle in the wind ? LOL , i think for now we should try to forget this killing unless it is clear that it will affect our bank sign off. Happier things to think about, like harry getting an OBE perhaps ??
Or the starting next year of Starmergeddon in the UK :-(

You can see the area here
htTps://www.kefi-goldandcopper.com/projects/saudi-arabia/hawiah
Hawiah is located within the Wadi Bidah Mineral District (“WBMD”) in the southwest of the Arabian Shield.
Https://goldprice.org/ gold on the rise might see it above 2400 today which would be twice the price from a few years back.

Next Stage Mapping and Sampling Commencing on Additional Joint Venture Lands in the Al Amar and Wadi Bidah Belts
(The significance is that Kefi is active in the Wadi Bidah area as well with some of the areas bordering each other)
The way you carrying on you'll be a burnt out candle.
Chill, mate.
DvH, actually i think i have held a strong nerve on this matter,it is not a good idea to deny reality though by the same token, the slaying of a key opposition figure in Ethiopia at this juncture is the last thing we need after a period of what seemed " a settled peace" . If this does affect our project timelines it will be un-fortunate and very bad luck just at the wrong time,by the way i do not hold Harry responsible .It is a fact though that we have been waiting so long for lift off at TK that something was bound to pop up on the newswires .
If we do suffer another disgusting short attack,us shareholders will need to hold our nerve and support the company otherwise we will find ourselves in a death spiral ,remember without that fifth candle we are not going anywhere bro :-)
0.58p as UT but the spread of 0.582 v 0.592p
An excellent progress today, though the Final UT price was not the proper outcome of the day

FC, you're coming across as a real bed wetter. Just grow a pair and chill. Too much stress is not good for you and you might become one of the many millions in the UK who suffer debilitating mental health illnesses.....
Is - FiveCandles -scaremongering a bit too much?
Time to downsize to FourCandles >>>> https://youtu.be/gi_6SaqVQSw
Yes Rob it does need watching ,so far it seems to have had no immediate effect but that is largely due to lack of coverage and reporting. Would the killing of a popular opposition leader affect the decision of the second bank to sign off the deal ? we dont know as yet ,i would hope not of course,if we do come under another sustained short attack off the back of this news though it may require a statement from Kefi to calm the waters. I wonder what TW makes of it ???
Kefi veeeeery slowly is starting to catch a balance after a shocking placing. We had a couple of woobly weeks and looks like this could be the end off. Also we are slowly going to the point when we will get an update about TK and SA progress. Fingers crossed for some well deserved joy shortly! GL
If you going to dish out insults...it is IMBECILE.
But is you the one wasting YOUR time posting here ... IMBECIL
Well, don't post then!
Its ok FC it does need watching just the mainstream media sucks when it comes to covering Ethiopia and has a habit of thinking things are black and white when they are often a murky grey.
"TheSecretTrader" is a RAT catcher, I see a waste of time posting here, we are looking for Gold and Copper
All i am saying is it is not the news we would want at this key moment of Kefi history, luckily it has not been widely reported and not really seen by the market hence no reaction. We may yet get away with it ,as opposed to last time when we hit multi-year lows.
By the way i am still very much a Kefi Bull ,remember it is the fifth candle that is key :-)
Could see this happening.

Think it could turn out more complicated than it seems FC as the OLF is not blaming the government yet and Jaal Maroo was more restrained than you would expect. Could be as the bbc says or a family dispute or infighting between the olf and ola or within those groups or someone that wanted to stop peace talks. I am sceptical that it was government sanctioned as the government wants peace talks but we will see.
Haha, uber confident a short while ago (takeover imminent! lol) and now wanting a trade at lower prices. So transparent, so just give it a rest....
Guys i do not want to be bearer of bad news but this news from yesterday does not bode well for a bank to sign off on our deal, hence why i am frustrated with Harry that we still here in this position. We need stabilty :-(
A top Ethiopian opposition figure has been shot dead and his body found on the side of a road in his hometown in Meki, in the troubled Oromia region.Bate Urgessa, 41, was an outspoken critic of the government and had been jailed on several occasions.
Family members told local news site, Addis Standard, people who "looked like government security forces" took him from his hotel room on Tuesday night. The Oromia regional government denied that security forces were involved. In recent years Ethiopia has seen an increase in the killing of political and cultural figures.Mr Bate was a senior official of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) - one of the biggest political parties in Ethiopia.
The OLF condemned the "brutal murder" of Mr Bate and said he was a "eloquent, brave and selfless Oromo soul"."The unwarranted and extrajudicial killing of conscious and active Oromo political and cultural figures has been a systematic and irresponsible act of silencing the Oromo throughout years and decades," the statement said. His death has sparked outraged across social media, while human rights groups are demanding justice.

Something to keep in focus:
Since Kefi conducted the project economics at TK the price of Gold has increased hugely which will mean that the potential profit margins on offer are highly attractive in relative industry terms.More than enough to provide some real hefty dividends going forward.
Moving in the right direction.
The stock is going places today on this bounce back, and another "AT" @ 0.59p and the price has moved up again 0.584 v 0.596p
