So, if you exclude Russia, for example, if you exclude Southern Africa, and Iโm talking about places like Botswana, Angola, Namibia, South Africa, all of those countries. If you exclude all that, thereโs pretty much nothing left. We were quite keen on acquiring an asset in a tier one jurisdiction which was pretty much Australia or Canada. So, it met the jurisdiction criteria.
Only Option after Oz and Canada add its 10 x cheaper to mine
So only Finland ๐ซ๐ฎ if you exclude the African countries

Blue Pink yellows???

Blood free Hall marked and environmental traceability
Perfect!!
I would advise KDR shareholders to listen to this interview. I would be surprised if Finland is not on the cards for Burgundy. They did say in a previous presentation that they were assessing opportunities in Finland and Brazil, however they removed the countries names on subsequent presentations so as to be less specific. Wonder why?

The company needs to update shareholders on the Mining Permit. Why have Land Survey not granted legal force yet to allow Tukes to issue the mining permit? Are Land Survey still waiting on the court ruling on the boundary appeal?
This delay to the formal registration of the mining permission is unbelievably long. I am not blaming KDR for the delay, but I am blaming KDR for not updating shareholders on the state of play, especially after apparently telling the AGM that they expected Permit by end of December 2023.
KDR said the boundary appeal would not affect the company's entitlement to land possession over the entire mining concession area, adding that it could proceed with initial work on the mining concession area.
What initial work has been done? If none, and its a waiting game, than thats ok. But just tell shareholders rather than have them getting annoyed with the company. PJ said it about KDR before......The company don't help themselves!
Video about mined diamonds
Lets hope its in our life time TICK TOCK ;-0
H,A,G,W, yourself
Another week ticks by.
This time with positive sentiment from valued long term holders and a welcome increase in volume.
Unfortunately no announcements from the company.
I assume nothing is forthcoming this afternoon so I wish you all a great weekend and here's hoping next week could be our time!

Probably a master stroke !!

The results of this programme, taken in conjunction with results from the previous programme, indicate a highly anomalous river catchment area. This area has yielded five samples each having over 1,000 indicator minerals. The indicator minerals are primarily Chromite and Forsterite with some Chalcopyrite and gold grains
Is Ireland news up before Permit ๐ค
Half year report expected soon and upto 30 Nov 23???

Prof said end of year back in December ,WHAT YEAR LOL
HALF YEAR RESULTS due IN NEXT TWO WEEKS ?
Hopefully we will get the mining permit at some point this year this will then rerate to over 7P CGNR will then take up their option to increase holding and we then move on to the Finnish line sometime next year that's how I see it. No permit no news no nothing and the board might aswell not turn up to this year's AGM
Why did Rio disregarded Star Diamonds (Canada )and Blue Jay ( Finland copper) after pumping millions
in ??
Not big enough ore bodies ?or far too expensive to recover ,Diamond mining in Finland with power line and bus stops outside on main road network is 10 x cheaper and accessible 12 months a year ..Star not know for fancy ?
Prof said Lahtojoki too small for a major but add southern flank and that could change ,Agm work on going prof said ??
Southern flank??
We will never mine any diamonds or Copper for that fact me thinks ,.................
Our Job the most important is find economic ore bodies and proven source ,then sell them for the price they will command
Rio are still committed to diamond mining?? with the market they created for fancy gems ,if Kuhmo ??add Lahtojoki (Included the prospective southern flank ) would satisfy Rio thrust for fancy gems ,..........
Can you imagine walking away from Finland when Rio OY are filling their boots with licenses on Tukes ...
Add Northern Ireland Copper possible discovery and what's not to like
Fair points Tick-Tock. I don't think the current state of the world will have as much impact here. I suspect whatever major comes in will be implementing its long term plans to secure its future resources. After Canada, Finland looks like it will be the next location for a future diamond province. When you dip beneath the surface in Finland, things point to preparation and a leaning towards the green economy, which is the popular direction of travel. However, I believe there are also facility upgrades and too many coincidences pointing to future diamond mining, and an expectation that the first mine permit will be the start of the rush.
The Russian Ukraine conflict will end next year so will the middle east conflict when Donald Trump becomes president again it would never have started in the first place if Trump was in the White House .Trump is the messiah soaring stock markets America Great again and finally the Finnish Line here in 2025 .Going to have to sit it out for another 12-18 months but if Yogi and Stevehoops are right it's sure dam going to be worth it .
My opinion only tock Tock
Copper is extremely valuable going forward as a no brainier , Build they will come
Rio Argyle mine reserve store of Pinks has a limited capacity and stock needs to be replenished
IF there is such a thing?
IF there is it will attract big companies
Remember the issue for gaining a full mining license
Is timely and Lahtojoki could be a stop Gap
Imagine Rio could spend 300 mil on Kuhmo ( one of many)
Lahtojoki already proven Pinks Yellow and rumour of Blue diamonds
Love the energy here tonight Yogi and Hoops - nice work guys! Also great to see significantly increased volume after a quiet couple of months.
I guess my question would be...why would Rio, or anyone else, see now as the right time to pull the trigger on a JV or full takeover? With no end in sight with Russia-Ukraine, the escalating situation in the middle east, the uncertainty of a US election, current economic turmoil impacting inflation, debt markets and diamond prices...I want this deal to happen as much as the next person but nothing has happened in the last 10 years when the world was a more stable place, so why now?
Rio collaborated with KDR since 2006 could waltz in and take the entire company out
Imagine the cost for a majorโs looking to satisfy locals in the monopoly of licensing for mining and Forestry Rd access?
10 /30 times what a minor can agree
Combined with all licenses of Cgnr and Rio Exploration OY
Could take large amounts of central and eastern Finland for a snip ๐ฏ???,
Was Rio agreements to sit on Kuhmo
See what else you can find waiting for the spoils of Argyle mine sold off
After all the saturated Market from 80% of supply from (Argyle is enough for any Market
Bring on 2024)
Since then A5 Green diamond spaghetti junction imho
Lahtojoki PDA ( south locked in)
Blue and Pinks for ยฃ150k ๐ค๐ฏBargain
Interesting on that 2017 I visited the lake and nothing until this year ( waiting on something??)
Frustrating or that was the plan all along ๐ค
As for waiting at a bus stop
We find Nickel Copper Platinum in Ireland
(And now revisiting Kuhmo for Copper ๐)
Only 750klm sq in Ni
๐ค๐ค๐๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ช
350k might be peanut some might add but the agreement didnโt end 2015 not the expiry date as set out in the second amendment of the agreement
Why didnโt they walk away in 2015 if deemed unworthy in commercial terms
Finnish law in mining concessions spells clearly out.
A company can only take over existing licenses vis an agreed JV or Take over .
If the company falls so does their license and it reverts back to beginning for all applications
( I think am correct in that ?)
Rio has opted not to renew HV with buy in right.
Only thing left is Taking it over???
Yogi
Hit the nail on the head, smoke and mirrors concerning the demise of agreement
Haha
Laughable!!
A Major spends excessive of 350 k has such a positive impact on Finland as diamond baring possible emerging province
Combined with the evidence of all other areas
G9 G10
When are they (Rio)๐คgoing to pull the trigger is the big question, my guess once permit lands this will be the game changer , roll on company changing news .
2017...contd...The Prof spoke re the keenness of RTZ to continue with the analysis of the Riihivaara project and samples taken. He spoke for once re figures needed to bring it into development, said it could be รยฃ200/รยฃ300 million, which shows the scale of the project involved.Obviously, that figure is way beyond KDR but not out of the reach of majors.Back to Lahtojaki, the cost for that to be brought into production is relatively cheap for many reasons explained clear and concisely by Kevin McNulty. They are very eager to get this under way now, so I'd imagine serious moves made after further investigation. Also mentioned were the boulders around K-K, current work is to establish which direction they originate from, once established that becomes pivotal for reasons mentioned by the team today. Those present today will verify the diamonds displayed,.......who knows re a RNS......they could have come from a subsidiary.....not bad for 4euros.Anyone doubting KDR now seriously want to give their head a wobble.
He then went on to say that de beers are no longer controlling the market like they did before. Alrosa are the largest and they have stated that they see there future in the Karelian craton. This info came out when Alrosa were doing a funding in London and had to disclose documentation which revealed this. The prof said that the Russians rarely give much away. He then referred to the original question re takeover, saying while we have great agreement with Rio, if we get a good offer we will take it. The more I think about it the more I am sure he was suggesting an Alrosa takeover bid. We do know Alrosa geologists visit Kdrs licencesRio have classified Riihivaara as a "high priority ore body". I am fairly sure that was the exact wording. Rio just spent ย350,000 -ย400,000 of their own money to test KDR garnets. They said likely to be diamondiferous. If RTZ ( Rio Tinto) look to build a mine at Riihivaara for ยฃ 200 or 300 million and KDR have 49%, then the uplift to KDR would be beyond belief. As for Pipe 7 (Lahtojoki) and adjacent land. The prof said that they are going to do a little more work on the land adjacent to Pipe 7 as they think it could be richer than previously believed. I think the belief is that there may be another source of diamonds right next to Pipe 7 and GTK are chasing this up for the company. Hence they will remodel the mine. When it comes to building a mine and the money needed to build it, I noted that they do not anticipate any problem in getting the money. Take from that what you like, but I think I have a fair idea why they were so happy at the AGM. I have never seen them so happy at an AGM.Bloomberg reported 7th December Rio Tinto to expand the miners diamond business, according to Bloomberg today. Rio said the only path to expansion is acquisitions. Jean Sebastian Jacques, the Rio Tinto Group CEO told Bloomberg. He told Bloomberg that acquiring more diamond assets is the "priority area"! They are going to continue to refocus their portfolio to ensure that 10 years down the road they will have only world class assets. As far as I am aware Rio have classified a KDR discovery as "High Priority", which was why they paid for previous analysis in Australian lab. This could be very good for KDR. I noticed another guy who was also at the AGM posted his summary so I will include his post as it's accurate- From memory, whilst I wait for my flight home.A very upbeat AGM today, well attended and well received. The Lahtojaki diamond mine will go in production sooner rather than later.Funding obviously needed but will not be a problem. Deadline of 2019 but The Prof told everyone today it will be much sooner than that.GTK are currently working on an additional area which is proving very interesting, once that work is finished, then the funding requirements will be known. That was confirmed by to us by the senior geologist as well. The Prof spoke re the keenness of RTZ to continue with the analysis of the Riihivaara project and ......
