the ones from 22jun is after the jacked up port broke loose... only one piece left... two pieces folded in half on the previous image 28may... there does look to be a growing pile near the new east access from the road... seems to grow in size by 27june... but 7jul... gone again... or is it... image quality is different so could be an illusion... the google earth image still has the two pieces of port... so that pre-dates those june images...
@OB,, you are probably right.. Wood Chips Eucalyptus piles look the same colour http://biomassbrazil.blogspot.com/2009/08/biomass-wood-chips-fuel-eucalyptus.htmlfr and the next two

Or could it be ore dampened down to prevent dust?
@Y1101284 - I don't suppose you could have a word with LSE about them including commas in URL links? ;-)
Looks like wet ore stacked on dry ore and so must have been added close to date image was taken, just thought I would state the obvious.
There appears to be something happening just here:

which is an area we've previously identified that could be of interest :-)

I've changed my mind. What you shared is likely newer as it corresponds more closely with Tuesday's satellite image.
Take a look on google street view. Looks like wood chip to me. Also the zoom link I shared looks more recent:

You'll need to copy and paste, or if you trust me, click on this:

Ummm... Now what is all that Rusty brown pile of stuff dumped there for??

Might be worth another watch of this for a 3D view. 3:33 might be close to the area in question. Though I'm not sure when those flybys were taken.

Anyone got or recall other 3D views of the area?
Which corresponds to this view:

I can't see much happening at our port, but for the handymax spotters you might want to scroll along to take a look at the public port - does these views correlate to what you've been seeing?
