How do you explain the huge Director Buys then? I think they have genuine confidence in making progress from here.
I agree Layla and Pauly. He cannot be trust any longer. Investors now need hard proof not his BS stories. Sorry to say this but is true.
We caught up with Ben, and our first question was what investors should focus on going into 2024.

Agreed layla1. He has been hyping up nonsense for many years and I am still waiting for the 20pennce Xmas present he promised a few years ago.
He cannot be trusted. Only hard facts now.
At least anyone buying here are 25% better off than all the big investors who recently piled in at 1p. As per the video report £600k bought by the directors at 1p. Im happy at my entry point at these levels.
Unfortunately no amount of enthusiasm and hyperbole by BT will sway investors. He's overplayed it too many times and because of this, physical definitive facts are the only thing that will cut the mustard.
Almost if of the century JP but we'll see.
It's the hope that kills you and all that...
Look at the videos from Mar/Apr 23 about Ditau where he was "incredibly excited" despite KAV's own assays saying only pathfinder. The project is no longer a priority, says a lot. BT could hype a snail climbing up a wall.
For balance, there was a recent comment quoting the KCB expert as having said he'd seen more gold in samples from Zim drills than in the rest of his career put together. If that is remotely backed up by assays (BT says "new year" which probably means April and only then if he deems the grades good enough), then its happy days.

What do people make of this pitch from Ben? I think the potential here is verging on incredible - but it is still exploration and the outcome of that is always always binary (yes or no). And no amount of positive energy from Ben can change that. I find it a little strange that Ben keeps saying they have not been talking about things until they can demonstrate drill success, yet here he is talking it all up. For sure he is on a very orchestrated pitch to promote the company (which is his job).
The impact of the gold rush in Zimbabwe
According to the United Nations Environment Programme, the work of artisanal miners and small-scale gold prospectors is the world’s largest source of mercury pollution. Gold prospectors from the Odzi River near the town of Mutare in Zimbabwe – unregistered artisanal miners – sift rocks from the river bed and colour the sediment with drops of mercury that sticks to the gold. Then, they use fire to separate the two metals. There are around 500,000 such unlicensed miners in Zimbabwe, supplying more than 60% of the gold mined in the country. It is Zimbabwe’s number one export commodity of critical importance to the crisis-ridden economy – in 2020, profits from the sale of this metal bullion amounted to US$2.14 billion.
Thus from our CEO last week:
"Dave Catterall is in Zim at the moment. He’s spent half of his career (20 years) in gold and has two further discoveries under his belt, both of which are being mined (as well as the Zone 5 copper discovery, currently being sold for $1.5billion in Botswana)
In Dave’s words he’s seen more gold in samples over the last week than he has in his entire career."
Yes, it's definitely about the next 6 months here. We should have initial results from Zim and Karakubis within this period. It's a good time to be in gold and copper, and not many juniors have good quality projects for both.
Yes I seem to recall Ditau was the priority last March when it looked highly speculative based on assays.
The current project focus looks encouraging & Legalwolf might be right, could be a good 6 months coming up.
A positive sounding RNS, but aren't they all :-)
Until we actually see some tangible results I'll reserve the right to be cautious with my expectations. This is one holding that has often promised, but as yet, never delivered. One doesn't require a long memory to add some balance to one's outlook here.
Exciting period coming up for KAV.

Announcement on the sale of Khoemacau - but still subject to a variety of approvals. Not least of which is Mines Union approving the Buyer - by no means a foregone conclusion.
Despite Mr Turney reducing his previous options to 3p which would have required him to add c£25m of net value just to exercise, the bar is lowered to 1.1p which lets face it is pump & dump territory. Going forwards if Turney adds £10m of value he gets c£300k which given his track record is extraordinary.

In no way am i suggesting this is the plan for KAV. Rather it was part of an overall interesting read.
Let’s have some cracking news soon ..
They did. They sold to Ben Turney and Peter Wynter-Bee. Peter took just over £500k worth of stock
POWER METAL Resources sold out
