Fabulous RNS .....KAV Struck gold .....wow
I don’t get it why people buy the news, I’ve been adding around .65-.7 range for last 6 months.

Me too. Fantastic news and much more to come from KAV.
This is great ! I will be adding this morning!
Ben Turner says:
"This Maiden Resource Estimate for gold for the Nara tailings dumps is the first Mineral Resource Estimate Kavango has delivered.
It's a milestone moment for our company and reflects the speed at which we are growing in Zimbabwe."
Onwards, and hopefully, upwards!
Let's hope KAV makes more of this gold tailings project, than KAT made of theirs!

RNS out and 2 dumps at Nara, represents c$6m of free cash flow perhaps more, this is low lying fruit as no actual mining. The point about the option exercise date is true although they could exercise earlier but Nara is big c1moz target & lots of drilling required.
JP - have a listen to the below. BT has specifically addressed the options for near term and longer term revenue generation, and stated the following:
- They drilled tested the dump at Nara and have results internally which are positive. It's a reasonable size dump with "we hope a reasonable size grade in there".
- They are now waiting on the Resource Geologist (RG) to confirm the internal results they have had.
- Assuming the report from the RG confirms their internal results and expectations, they will exercise the option on Nara and install a processing plant for the dump.
- They have also pretty much secured their first deal following the recent conference, which is subject to confidentiality, but they will be making an announcement on it in the near future.
- BT also states they are fully funded for current work programmes and have options for financing following that as well.
I'm definitely looking to add more and this sounds like it will certainly be an eventful and news filled year, and I can't see anything but upside from these levels given what is coming up on a number of fronts (Hillside/Nara drilling results, near term revenue generation from these projects, KCB drilling confirmed for April, new project soon to be announced) and the fact that financing is in place meaning no low ball dilution.

Legalwolf: in mid Dec BT mentions two tailings dumps in a Q&A although he's only mentioned Nara by name. The underlying issue is Nara is a 2 year option (c17 months left) so it would be surprising if KAV starts production before the option exercise and as of yet KAV has not started drilling (anytime next couple of weeks). I don't recall talk about Hillside tailings but it would seem the most likely because KAV have stated their intention to exercise the option, note expiry was 25th(?) Jan but they agreed to extend 3 months due to a new capital gains tax. My only request is the tailings have low capital requirements and a fast payback. I'm expecting KAV to list its shares on the Vic Falls Stock Exchange at some point to get a concession on gold sales as there's a rule which says > c3000oz then company gets 75% USD & 25% ZWL.
No idea what production is feasible without megabuck investment, perhaps $1m required per 1000 oz??? In the latest interview BT talks about the ZIM operation being net profitable which is probably implying $2-3m profit from tailings.
The difference between now and previously, is that the BOD are now accountable to the Kasangra family, as it's their millions that are currently being spent by the company. If they don't deliver on their hype, they won't last too much longer in post. I think BT moving to Zim is a sign of serious intent and commitment as well.
Hopeful we will get some tangible results that will significantly boast the shareprice.
Unfortunately over the last couple of years there has been a lot of hot air which has yielded very little.
Hopefully now in the right place with the right key employees and backers -next six months could be very significant or once again a damp squib
I am hoping that KAV is going to have a really good Q2. Not only are we expecting KCB drilling to commence, but we should start to get some of these positive gold results that BT has been talking about, as well as gold revenue generation from Nara. These couldn't have been better timed in terms of the gold price right now. There is also the possibility of new revenue generating opportunities that BT spoke about in the interview. Need to remember that the current price is very low, and most of the stock is held in tight hands. So it won't take much buying for this to make a big move up.
Just need to hope that it's not all hyperbole and cheap talk from BT, and the results will indeed live up to the expectations he is creating about them.
But definitely worth this entry price with what's coming up here imho.
Re PL082: the underlying issue was a failure of geophysics to recognise syncline & anticline when the latter was more associated with mineralisation. It was pretty unforgivable.
Karakubis has recognisable dome structures ie anticlines similar to Sandfires mine. Still lots of geological risk but they are looking in the right area.
Part of me thinks that entire interview was simply far too smooth a smooching exercise. But let's hope there is real substance behind all the nice words - as he said, news will flow relatively soon.
Botswana is being seen as 'blue sky' potential where they need to go out and 'drill drill drill'. As he said, where they are going next is greenfield exploration ground - and he sure was putting the responsibility to target the right areas to drill onto Dave Catterall. But then the same Dave was the guy responsible for deciding much of the previous drill programs, so he is fallible. (I follow another company in Botswana where some mug-punters swear blind in the brilliance of the CEO and they wont countenance anything but success by him.)
So Botswana is going to spend money for the next couple years for sure. That means Zimbabwe needs to start generating cashflow reasonably soon ie next 6 months or so. If not, then BT may get the opportunity to see if Purebond is as financially supportive as he would like us all to believe today.
Maybe I missed it - did he say what type of mining technique they are using in Zimb? Bulk processing through plant owned by who ..... or nugget detecting (surely not) or heap leech (wont be their own plant i dont think) or .......
Thank you:)
Fantastic interview -the future looks promising!
It was a super interview and has stirred up interest. 0.77 paid!
It's linked below and is well worth a listen:

What interview?
Nah - I've not heard him talk up drilling results before like this. He's normally cautious about results. I suspect he already knows they are going to be positive by the sounds of things. But let's see. With a rising POG, it would be a brilliant time to release some positive gold news to the market. And KCB drilling to come as well.
Not much stock at these levels, and most of the free float is in sticky hands. Hard to see this trading at these levels for much longer imho. But let's see. GLA
BT has a history of being "over optimistic". Lets wait for some tangible results.
It was a brilliant interview. BT was on top form and there is LOADS of newsflow coming up here in the coming weeks and months, with drilling at KCB to commence in April. The company is well financed with multiple options for revenue and the continuing backing of the Kasangra family. Therefore no more need for low ball broker led placings - which was key. He has also pretty much indicated that the results at Zim are going to be positive, saying they are delighted with how things have gone, that he can't wait to release them and that the market will like them and buy into KAV.
And KAV's share price is stirring into life with 0.8p on the Ask!
Where does the revenue come from - certainly nothing copper related. That will take years and money to drill and prove up to a resource/reserve. And anyways, then they would look to sell it. So revenue can only come from gold in Zimb - well ok the prospect of significant gold discovery / extraction can super charge a share price. But who is going to believe that means they are on a mother lode of golden or silvery stuff ...... The more he behaves like a pump and dump CEO, the less credibility KAV projects imo.
This is going under the radar - with a rising POG, the first bit of positive gold news that KAV release to the market will trigger a big move up. As Ben has said in this interview: "once we start to show some of the results we have coming up it will start to attract more buyers..."
Multibagger in the making here for 2024 imho!
Looks like we have some interesting tweets coming in from Ben ,
“Near term revenue expected , results due from 2 projects , and drill targets for a large scale copper exploration.

Kavango Resources* (KAV LN) 0.7p, Mkt Cap £9m – Drilling at Hillside shows promising visual core
Kavango Resources provides an update on its exploration programmes at the Hillside Gold Project in Zimbabwe.
The Company is completing IP over four prospects over 16km lines.
The IP is intended to identify sulphide bodies relating to high-grade gold-bearing shear structures.
The Company has also completed four diamond core holes over 1,306m over the four prospects.
Core visuals are reportedly encouraging and assays are due following the granting of export permission.
The Company intends to complete a further 1,400m of diamond drilling relating to the current IP survey.
Management notes its confidence in the visual observation of the recent cores, encouraging them to carry on exploring Hillside.
Drilling is also being planned at the Nara Project, with a geological mapping exercise ongoing.
90 auger holes have been drilling at the Nara tailings dump, with these currently being modelled with a resource consultant.
Nara covers four historic underground mines, which produced at average grades of 9.8g/t.
