http://sleekmoney.com/johnson-service-group-plc-price-target-raised-to-gbx-90-at-investec-jsg/156748/ That's a big leap for this category of company.
Thanks for that liddybear. They sound upbeat and give some good reasons for being so.....yet no big move on the share price? Perhaps the market has already priced in the improving results. I like the notion of buying in competitors such as Bourne. It would seem that JSG is in a position to do so as it is an industry leader and has the brands to do so. The waitrose connection is a significant one. Where will the share price go to from here? Who's going to hold for the dividend? will the sp decline just after the dividend hold date?
Just come across this interview http://bit.ly/1ATRZ2U not long posted. talks about growth and waitrose
The results seems good on the face of it. Where to from here? Anyone on board here able to give an alysis of the figures. I would have thought from the headlines thus far that the share price should have moved up. Thoughts?
Hopefully we'll see good positive results tomorrow and strong rise in sp. Not many daily trades. Any thoughts out there on company, could it be in line for takeover? ?
....results for tomorrow. Let's see a break out from here.....hopefully
Would be nice to see 80p barrier broken...
High hopes - might get noticed then
Company is performing well, hopefully we'll see a jump in sp when results are issued.
No talk that I can find, but it seems to be a steady move up all the same......
Any thoughts were this could be going? Very little talk
How do we get investors interested? Has anyone gotten any research or reports on this company and their prospects? If so I would love to get a read of what is being said about them by the investor types.
Good solid share here - good management too - but no interest from investors.
Indeed it is a solid share. It has proven so over the last few years. Again, as ever, I wonder wheather it has the potential to rise back up to the Stg 4 as it once was? I know it is a very much smaller company than it was and that it now services less debt than in the past. What I`m really getting at is - what are the possibilities of this company now expanding again and holding a bigger market share than in the past? Is there any research or commentary with regard to the likelyhood of this happenning? Has nyone got any recent research links or documents on this company that would enlighten on this possibliity. Otherwise, yes it`s a solid share and never going to do anything spectacular. Thanks in advance for any assistance with my quest.
Solid share this
Seems like more interest today - good uptick - someone knows something.
Is there any explanation? Any news...?
trades,5 minutes before the end of close?
Very good reaction to the news of the acquisition of Bourne Services....and to the news of turning profitalbe....question is how far it will move now? Will it go back to £4 as was the case just a few years ago? Thoughts?
Sorry can't help. This is the only noticeboard I use - I think this company is too boring for the people on here! (likewise PRU) I chose this company because they took immediate action when the crash came - cutting costs etc.
Musiclondon, Thanks for that. Similar situation myself. Do you know of any other forum where they are discussed? Very little gets said here..... The debt level seems to have plummeted....presumably they are a smaller company now too, having sold off subsidaries to pay down debt. Will they aver climb up to £4 plus again?
Just a feeling really. I bought in at the first big drop and I've been sitting on them for years. This type of company suffered in the downturn as dry cleaning/industrial cleaning could be regarded as discretionary spending and easy to reduce. I'm guided by the price rise really already in profit so I'm staying in but won't be buying more.
Musiclondon, it's looking better indeed. The change of CEO seems to not have rocked the boat and it has moved up from then. Why do you reckon it has turned the corner and where can it go from here? Can JSG get back to £4 and above?
Company has turned round methinks!
sell..........
