yep still waiting for mine with motley fool
Still waiting for mine on Interactive investor...
Just checked my account now and its come through
Not got mine yet either, I use Halifax share dealing
Maybe slightly optimistic but I believe when the company releases the next dividend dates etc more people will buy and that will push the SP to double digits
Spoke to my Bank they think I won't be paid today as they are based in the US so it will take a bit of time. When will they announce the next dividends? This share seems to have gone dead.
Yes
Has the dividends been paid to anyone yet?
I assume we will see the money come in this Friday? Everyone is quiet here. Any thoughts of announcement for the next the DIV?
LMAO! @GodWilling
Can't see any reason for the SP to rise too much but there could be some nice dividends for shareholders as the company sells it's assets. of course word of another dividend payout could drive the SP up. Perhaps Godwilling would like to elaborate? at xmas will it be champagne n caviar or peanut butter and a candy bar?
DYOR LOL (sorry couldn't resist)
Based on what?
Good chance to top up, by xmas this should be the price it was yday imo, dyor
Fair enough
All you have to do is read this board or, better still, a couple of the recent RNS... DYOR is the term I believe.
why?
Guys it's ex-divi If you buy today your stock won't settle for two days All stock purchases are on T+2
Zeps, I understand that, the bit I missed was that the Ex-dividend date was today, so the holders as at CoB yesterday (30th Aug), or on Open this morning (31st Aug) are the ones entitled to dividend. The RNS stated: " The Board announces that an interim dividend of 8p per share will be paid on 29 September 2017 to shareholders on the register at 1 September 2017. " Which led me to think you would need to be holding at CoB today to be on the register tomorrow morning. Doesn't really affect me, as I only have a minor holding, and still hold so will get my dividends, and tbh prob just gonna leave the holding as is to see if there's more dividends to come from the outstanding items which are being closed out.
Ex-dividen If you purchase a stock on its ex-dividend date or after, you will not receive the next dividend payment. Instead, the seller gets the dividend. If you purchase before the ex-dividend date, you get the dividend. On July 26, 2013, Company XYZ declares a dividend payable on September 10, 2013 to its shareholders.
Thanks.
All the relevant information you seek is available in the company's regulatory releases so best to take a look through these for your research.
any new business?
I'd say so.
@GG - so the drop today because the DIV has been processed?
