It's making me want to order a takeaway (:
This is a short-termist panic sale of Just Eat.
Top management has surrendered to City pressure and thrown in the towel.
Just Eat is 4 x larger by revenue than Takeaway, and it should be buying, not selling.
well they pretty much own the entire UK/EU food delivery market now. DoorDash & UberEats are mainly american, and Deliveroo is slightly different business model
I have had some of these for awhile now often getting negative comments in the press
I'm not a shareholder, but happy for the all holders who will gain a fair bit from this good news. :)
Got to be worth 850 at least on take over price.
I'm not a shareholder here but surely this is great news for all involved here? And not a single comment.
Wishful thinking..... Hopefully moves back upwards and not down.... Fingers crossed
Should put some umph behind the SP on Monday ... should be taken out at all time high c 900p imo
..is knocking.
I couldn't agree more, Just Eat have terrible customer service, you only have to check out their reputation on social media to get a sense of their failings. With new kids on the block popping up, I can't imagine Just Eat will be around for the long haul unless serious changes are made within.
Agreed, tried to get some food earlier as I was pretty hungry. Password reset took an hour for the email to arrive!! You're not going to make money in this day and age with service like that I'm afraid. I ended up cooking myself a meal for goodness sake!
yes, well done all those unlike me who held their nerve on this one
up now.. as i thought. the business is still growing. i will be using them tonight as i got a 15 discount emailed to me. the losses in latin america is massively outweighed by the gains everywhere else. latin america may or may not come good time will tell. lets see what price the brokers think this should be which will get the price moving. hope one day they start paying a dividend aswell
4% down is not bad and certainly recoverable soon providing no bad news lurking. I think the reason the SP took a hit was because profits were not high enough and don't really understand a company like this which seems more interested in uEBITDA. Reminds me of BTG where they seemed more interested in revenues. I don't know a lot about business but it stands to reason at the end of the day the market really wants to know if a company is profitable.
What about the losses in Latin America? How do they figure in the overall equation?
yep games indeed.. results are positive all the way through
Wow - Results pretty much spot on and a 5% drop in 15 mins, what is going on this world. Appreciate the outlook maybe vague but seriously what do investors want - they promise, they deliver oh and where is the market confidence :(. I am holding as I am sure that this will breach £8 soon enough
Playing games today keeping SP down so either stick with it and await tomorrow or leave now with what you have.
…….and some big sells at the end of the day. Be interesting to see if some more big buys are made tomorrow as an indication of results
Sure hope so l
i think this will fly past 8 quid on results day. if they hit what they forcasted last trading update which was in itself a hike it will go up and if they beat it then the sp will fly up
Yes, seems to be recovering. Don't want to sound like a troll/deramper but I'm not sure I'll still be in this share at 4.30pm tomorrow. Too many times the market has hit even the most mediocre of results. Looking back this time over the previous 5 years I think only once has the SP maintained its price after results but who knows? Maybe Wednesday will be a great morning and I sincerely wish holders all the best..
I hope they will recover later in the day, I thought these were going up, up, up until Wednesday at least. Anyone read anything in the news over the weekend about possible results??
