No idea tiqitiq. Never heard of that before. Maybe someone else can enlighten us both.
Toneman, Is that the site where they had discovered an area of "Sweet Water" i.e. naturally desalinated sea water?
Great, thanks Bellers - good to know that it's still operating. My earlier posting was to answer Joker's question and also to let him realise that ITM used an inhouse turbine to produce hydrogen fat its old factory. I wonder if they're going to site another one at Bessemer Park?
PARIS (Reuters) - France's Michelin plans to achieve revenue of around 34 billion euros ($41 billion) by 2030, versus 20.5 billion euro last year, by diversifying beyond its tyre-making heritage into new activities, including hydrogen power and medical devices.
The firm said in a strategy presentation on Thursday that it anticipated revenue from its business making hydrogen power systems for vehicles would grow from a forecast 200 million euros in 2025 to 1.5 billion euros by the end of this decade.

Tiqitiq, the wind turbine was turning this morning doubtless filling the bank of cylinders adjacent to it. What’s not to like about turbines creating hydrogen especially at night when there is little load on the electricity network. Win win.
Joker99, not only is it to do with hydrogen, it's very specifically ITM hydrogen. The EMEC site is where ITM's electrolyser is sited.

Some of the electricity the Turbine generates can be diverted to an electrolyser to produce Hydrogen , just the same as ITM use a wind turbine at their old factory in Sheffield!!

Hello fellow pragmatic poo pollution protesters.
The petition went past the 5 clickers on the link stage of parliamentary scrutiny within moments.
When the petition gains formal approval and goes live I'll repost on here for you guys to spread around.
Because of COVID it could take a few weeks according to the site.
Great, I'll sign it and i'll share amongst all my friends ad family - Something has to be done to clear it up and preserve the water animals habitat!

We have otters in the Thames but they still chuck sewage in there. I will sign your petition Boatface
Mc Boat face I will gladly sign. The chief culprit company United Utilites serves my area.
One thing is that Yorkshire Water now sends people to every environmental meeting in the valley to try and stay on side. We have otters, probably filthy otters, but otters none the less.
The Wharfe has so many problems with discharge, I seem to be crowd funding a lot of the citizen costs on this subject

I'm starting a parliamentary petition about this raw sewage degradation of duty, 100,000 signatures guarantees a debate. I'll post it here when the application for it has been accepted.
I must say this ****ed me off...

United Utilities won this deplorable contest with over 100,000 separate occasions. Apparently it's better profit margin for shareholders if you don't treat the sewage!
So true...and you get a free plastic bottle for your 90c which you can then bury.
Price of petrol in USA $84cents per litre
Price of Evian in UK £65pence per litre ($90cents)
So something that has fallen from the sky and put in a plastic bottle is slightly more expensive than something that is dragged out of a war-torn country, distilled, shipped and delivered.
Kind of weird
