Anybody have an opinion if and when IPSA will appoint a permanent CEO? Peter Earl probably has a bigger focus on RUR, and as good a job he may be doing, I feel IPSA needs its own captain to steer its ship. Any thoughts or potentials being talked about?
i think they may have to give free balloons with every share to get it going..... i think the real trigger for re rating would be that cash payment OR some other financially substantive positive peice of news....
yes, thought we would have powered on by now!!! if this was some other share, on the back of the contract extension and favourable court ruling, the SP would have gone way high! I'm sure there its only a matter of time when IPSA 'pops' and the good times will roll!
thank you.... still here and still amazed we are sub 2p....
Come on people, lets chat, what's next for IPSA? I sent an e mail to the acting CEO on Friday, just saying well done on the court situation in Malaysia, to which he replied: "Thank you. We believe that there is a lot more positive news in the pipeline. Your patience will be rewarded." Sounds like something big could be even in the pipeline with a comment like that! GLA
as this has been knocked back twice now, I don't think iris will appeal, but we shall see. maybe more pickup after 30 days or should iris confirm no appeal to feds.
Markets might wait the 30 days to see if Iris will appeal to the Federal Court, before rerating us. There's still an element of uncertainty.
I see some "new friends" have joined the board this morning, welcome!!! GLA
Just got off the rattler pal, and only saw the news now! didn't even know about this to tell you the truth, as had been just waiting for news on the RUR payment. Do we know to how much IPSA should benefit?
surprised to see a slow rise here. I think that it should be well above 3.0p.
That court win removes a claim of $9.8m against them and IPSA get costs back. This has been rumbling on since nov 13 so costs could be sizeable to be recovered. RUR cash news also due and with recent SA government contract this is undervalued by somewhat.
better its far too cheap
Yes mate nice start to the morning :)
17 April 2015 IPSA GROUP PLC ("IPSA" or "the Company") Malaysian Court Finds in Favour of IPSA IPSA Group PLC (AIM: IPSA), the developer, owner and operator of power generation capacity in southern Africa, is delighted to announce that the appeal of Iris Ecopower Sdn Berhad ("Iris") was dismissed this morning in the Malaysian Court of Appeal. The Court also awarded costs in favour of IPSA. This is the second time in which the Malaysian courts have found in favour of IPSA in the previously reported dispute in relation to the non- refundable deposit paid by Iris for the purchase of turbines that Iris failed to complete. On 25 March 2014 the Malaysian High Court accepted an application by IPSA that the Malaysian courts should not have jurisdiction over the claim brought by Iris as previously announced on 21 November 2013. Iris has 30 days in which to make a final appeal to Malaysia's federal court. Speaking today in London, Peter Earl, Acting CEO of IPSA, said. "I am very pleased that the Malaysian courts have yet again dismissed the Iris claim. This is an important victory for IPSA."

par for the course I'm afraid and expected hence IPSAs own more conservative rns...ie we update you when we know..... RUR are expecting a substantial sum which they need in order to pay down more than a few creditors.....so they need the money even more!
Reading on the RUR board, seems like this organisation has a notorious reputation for not keeping to timelines! On the subject of the payment from the sale of the plant and subsequent funds owed back to IPSA, seriously, what on earth could these "administrative delays" be, as per RURs rns on the subject? Starting to annoy me now, anybody else any thoughts???
Let's hope this share is one of those that when it "pops" there's a humongous rise with a flood of people cone in buying!!!! For now, the wait continues!!!
Ta mate.... this is still off radar and undervalued....think the extension of the supply contract to the state electric co is very robust good news...he was smart enough to be conservative in the March RNs .....all of course being ignored ....
I sent a reply thanking him for his response, and wishing him well in getting the SP back to where it should be, to wjhich he replied, "Trust me, I am pushing as hard as I can for a complete recovery of the share price!" fair play, GLA
To his credit, he did reply, but didn't give anything away! here was the response: "As soon as the funds are paid to IPSA, there will be an RNS. Everything remains on track or we would have put out a separate announcement by now"
the money is coming from an asset sale in South America.... there are always delays...... note IPSA themselves put out quite a non committal rns after RURs promise of payment by the end of the month....ie no time was give as they probably it would take longer....
I have e mailed the CEO, just asking if he has any idea when the RUR should be coming. I will let you know if I hear anything back. How much of a delay can be caused by administrative issues? They've had a whole month to sort it!!!
Ah ha, 8% up now there's a couple of takers
