Greetings. I've bought in here after doing some DD and I find it interesting there is so much talk of Piedmont .
From the presentation I understand that Piedmont hold just around 10% of ALL?
Other institutions viz Assore Int. c.21%.
DGR Global c.11% and others, presumably small shareholders in nominee accounts like most of us at c.46%
I've had offers for companies i have held over the years and can remember rejecting many and holding out for more money quite successfully.
Perhaps I'm missing something, but is the Piedmont tail able to wag the dog?
Should an offer come in we get the opportunity to accept or reject it. Looking at the composition of the institutions holding ALL, there is a huge amount of mining experience among their Mgmt and non-execs who will be able to (like us) reject an opportunist offer when much greater gains lay ahead with more exploration successes. If Morocco put this note out, then Sound could have been caught unprepared.

This is more fun than Cheltenham and it's the way I see it after several years here. If you read the technical stuff freely available and pay attention to the bottom line which for me is the "COS"....Chance of success, you can basically ignore the ramping.
A lot of variables have to line up to multi-bag on the current sp. Geology / commerciality / oil prices/ legislation/ oil quality, and many more.Just a warning for new punters reading these posts GLA punters, it sometimes pays off.

Will this change any fundamental revenue streams going forward?

I rarely post these days but feel today's RNS, was all about managing expectations. The non-exec part was a vehicle to convey one clear, simple message. No more exploration after H1. (At least not by us)
The choice of the word "towards" tells me a deal is nailed on to the commercialism of the te10 testing....how commercial it is will dictate the terms of the LE.

I understood that if TE10 required stimulation then that would be done with a corresponding delay to TE11 work?

Am not able to post a question tomorrow but hopefully I'll get some answers to the following:

I'm really looking to understand what is the bottom line here and how might total failures on te 9 10 and 11 drills impact the value of the te5 Horst?
In the event of a " fire-sale" what value might be attributable to the work we have done at Sidi?
Where are we regarding a possible farm-in partner for Sidi?
Sidi, we were told was a "plug and play". How long until we play?

With the SP languishing in the 20s, I do wonder if there is a potential acquirer lurking on the sidelines, licking their lips at the obvious lack of small PI confidence -and wondering what price those small PI's would be prepared to accept if it was put on the table as a cash offer?
No doubt that would propel the Sound management into giving us some more serious valuations (long overdue imo) on what we are currently sitting on (thinking Sidi, Te6 and 7 ) regardless of the outcomes of the current drilling operation.....
At the current SP it doesn't even require the deep pockets of a super major to put a half decent offer on the table!
That being said, I am of the view, a few super majors are quite aware of the gradiometry /seismic results and / potential we are sitting on and that any low-ball offer would be resoundly rejected by Sound management / Rothschild.

This is a question for some of our drilling specialists here.
How greatly is the speed of penetration of the bit related to the strata which we are drilling through - and here I am trying to get a handle on how closely the drilling speed for example through te8 relates to speed of penetration through te6 and Te7 .
I have no doubt they will be logging accurately how quickly we're going through the strata but does it correlate exactly depending on how tough/ porous / permeable the TAGI formation is? Could they for example say this would appear to be exactly the same speed we passed through te6 but quite different from their te8 records ?

I'm expecting a surprise statement of some sort tomorrow. Likely some good news.
If as James has regularly inferred there is a lot going on behind the scenes this may well be shown to us in the morning. Whether any statement at the moment would be enough to stop the slide in the SP is debatable, in the current market for risky stocks.
A key question for me at the FSC will be, what does our CFO consider the price that should be underpinning Sound based on the TCFs found and proven at Tendrara using reasonable metrics for GSA and forward-looking assumptions.
The market seems to be totally disregarding the potential gas still to be unlocked.

Thanks Ducati for that article. I see that it mentions using one or more "turbo compressors" to increase the capacity of their pipeline. Does anyone here have the technical answer, how much capacity using a number of Turbo compressors could our 20-inch pipeline handle, if Sound Energy were to unlock a big gas find in the Paleo?

Have been giving this a bit of thought, not on what car to buy, but rather on where to invest, should a big lump of cash appear in my bank account next year. So, am I tempting fate? The COS on 3 drills is still leaving some room for failure but the fact that JP is forward planning gives huge confidence, that drill or no drill we will be sold for a significant amount.
We are not party to negotiations, so what does James know that makes him feel he needs to get his next business venture ready to roll?
It's a bit like us putting a (very small) deposit down for the flashy new car isn't it?
