Painful to admit that I held these at 240p and was talked out of selling! Haha
If we break 31.5p it could be a 8 year high :)
A three or four year high?
Robust demand

Many thanks
I might add iofina predomity sell flake, it is discounted to the spot price which is 99.9% pure. anything which goes to be processed by iofina Chemical has added value.
No threats on the horizon as far as i can see. the iodine price has been strong and there are shortages continuing in some sectors. With output becoming a focus to increase current levels to 1000mt pa target it could withstand some softning on the spot price.
Evening all. Just looking at this one - seems a generally well run company and on a sound base. Has the share price been influenced significantly by the increase in spot price of iodine? The spot price seems to have gone up ~60% in the last 18 months or so - just trying to gauge what is a decent entry level and if there's any threat if/when the spot price returns to average historic levels. Thanks.
Short update from TB

Analysts views seen on ( D ) today . ( the previous share I looked at had 27 Analysts , this only 1 not rely a consensuses )
Stock Price Expectation.........12 MONTH EXPECTATION
Analysts expect the price to increase by 19%.
Analyst Consensus
But only *1 analysts from global investment banks and brokerage houses are currently rating the stock.
Just for my own interest in the future .
It looks like the market had a lot of appetite to suck up some large sells. Demand will tail off in the next few days, and with low volume the traders may find it difficult to buy back at a lower average. We shall see. Personally happy to simply wait for the share price to rise and enjoy!
Posted on the wrong IOF board again ( does not help the other first to show on this site ) , explains why such little chat there .
Had orders to sell last week for *28p ...did not executed .
It did this morning , did not see the RNS below which sent it up 12% the spread was 6% but at 11am that had closed to 1.84%.
Might not of sold out if I had seen it especially as the tide is rising . ( sticking to a plan )
47% gain on 11 May 2022 looks like it was a present TYJ
Some say sell the news , I will watch how that works .
RNS. comment .
Iofina PLC - London-based iodine producer - Expects 2022 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation to be materially ahead of previous market expectations, at not less than USD10.5 million. Revenue for the full year remains in line with current guidance. For 2021, Ebitda amounted to USD6.9 million. Revenue was USD39.0 million. Says global demand for both iodine and iodine-based derivatives are strong throughout 2022, with "prices rising during H1 2022 and remaining high in H2 2022". Consequently, Iofina's sales margins in the second half are robust and combined with its improved iodine production, it delivered stronger second half profitability than previously anticipated.
Chief Executive Officer Tom Becker says: "2022 was a year of significant progress for Iofina. Solid iodine production performance, higher prices and strong demand for iodine, and the beginning of construction of our newest plant IO#9 are all examples of the positive momentum that the company is carrying forward into 2023."
Current stock price: 27.50 pence each, up 12% on Monday morning in London
Blow the bloody doors off!
Nice update this morning "... EBITDA to be materially ahead of prvious market forecasts ..." rerate coming?
Market cap £47 million EBTA $10.5 P/E 5.4.
There will be a rerating and more output to come.
I follow IOF over on the ADVFN BB and they have a £ 1.00 club going. I think about a dozen members at the moment. Just saying.
Iofina well placed to reach 50p 2023.
Iodine supplies are very tight worldwide at the moment, any loss of production from either Chile or Japan will see the price rocket.
Cheers
Coincidentally my post happened at the same time the sp increased.
I'll post more often ;)
I'm in.
Not as outrageous as some might think. Ambitions to be the largest iodine producer in the USA >1000 MTPA
Also looking forward to the £ 1.00 club. (:-)
I’ve been invested here since 2012, seen some very rough days with this investment, however, having averaged down several times and taken on the risks I’m staying in until we reach the £1 club.
With the latest RNS and what is coming I think it might be 18-24 months until my target is reached.
Really surprised we're not motoring up well past 30p. Obviously a few sellers to clear before the move up. Won't be long IMO DYoR
...........And more very chunky trades this morning between 9am and 10am. We can only speculate what is happening behind the scenes, but long may it continue. Share price is up 30% in the last month.
