I should add - it only needs to double from here and stay there, and that is very possible in the next 12 - 18 months in my view. USA is also re-shoring and bringing production back. IOF will be an important company to the USA with Iodine in the next 5 - 10 years. Fortunes to be made here in the long term in my personal view
I’ve been invested here since 2012, seen some very rough days with this investment, however, having averaged down several times and taken on the risks I’m staying in until we reach the £1 club.
With the latest RNS and what is coming I think it might be 18-24 months until my target is reached.
Things are improving albeit slowly. We must not forget that. I would prefer a CEO with more charisma but a good job has been done in steadying this ship and we just have to hold our nerve that IO9 is on its way and the SP will get to £1
He’s not either most inspirational person to listen to, however, the information that came out was interesting, well worth listening to and he did get it across well. That’s my take anyway. Here’s hoping for the future and the growth plans coming to fruition
Point well made, however, I’ve been in this since 2012 and built up a good position that’s now at B/E. I do have faith as I’ve had several email chains with Tom over the last 18 months. Nothing out of the ordinary in the replies, but the reports from the AGM have given me good reason to hope for a brighter future
Absolutely shameful - this BoD need to go.
Still waiting for seed loan to be repaid, still waiting on news of IO9, still waiting on a clear future expansion plan. No way can they take the credit for the rising iodine price and USD in this perfect storm, while production remains static.
Completely disgraceful and contempt show for shareholders.
I hope at this years AGM the BoD are really held to account as it’s in person. We seem to have a BoD and CEO who are good at operational management, but no good at actually inspiring shareholder confidence, can’t deliver on promises about clarity in RNSs. I feel it is time for them to be given a last shot before some of them have to step down. What do others think? Please note I’ve held IOF since 2012
