I took some more. my money is on a bounce from here!
Unfortunately it doesn't, ( I'm not saying its overvalued, but it's fallen into the 20s before and with sentiment low anything is possible.
Oh come on ---- it has to be a buy here sub .50
Absolutely. Go on....
I did .
So did others.
Btw my opinion is not impatient punters. One or two perhaps. Mm’s want your shares cheap and are playing around.
Interesting piece indeed. I do find the continued high level of small scale trading activity on no news interesting. Market Manipulation or just impatient punters
Good Find,Mr Speedy --Gas is and will be King for quite some time yet .If you believe in Infa and what it is about as a responsible up and coming player in this market then just study carefully the recent price trends. In the absence of any negative announcements of late then one has to assume that there are no hidden bunkers. The big question is that whether at say .047-.050p the bet for a double raise by autumn is on with so much anticipated news to come.
The Buyers today think so but you all jolly well know that a significant raise at this time is not one...but a doubling of SP by autumn is mouth watering ...go on, be courageous and play by your gut instincts !! KR Mr Jolly Ramper.
Great insight and post.
Just reading in the Guardian, "And the prime minister’s brother, Jo Johnson, has been appointed a minister of state at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)". I wonder if his brothers "can do" attitude will influence any changes in BEIS thinking towards gas storage and promoting INFA? Exciting times.......apart from the SP!
Too many loons commenting/rambling incoherently on this board right now ffs. Time to take a break. See you in Sicily and beyond.
Tidd
Solid encourament.
Kind . Thank you. I am glad you believe in the BOD and the project. It encourages me greatly. I had a huge holding in 2018 and sold much at a loss. Money was needed for kids medical stuff and deposits. Cleaned me out. All for love eh? Now have to somehow do same for othher son! Is hard. But worth it. The 2 rocky years were due to medical/work and the complete slump in the oil share due to Placing ( surprise.) which halved it and Trump who finished oil off. Worth almost 1/3 what it was a year ago. Decided to add to infa but had to sell at a loss to buy Infa. Averaged down to 0.85 .Holding about 14m shares.on big loss but did not expect 0.5p. What are these nefarious antics. Shorter group??
Particularly encouraged if you trust BOD. I have cauterised fingers.
I’m wishing you well in all ways and it is good to read your encouragement here. 40% down ( ish) here and similar in Trin...so financially it’d be nice to get it right for a change!
All the best
It appears common sense has gone out the window and the majority of sellers are generally weak hands panicking.
I have taken the opportunity to add to my holding here today, given the nature of achievements to date a £7m MCAP is laughable.
Lest we forget that multiple offers of financing are on the table and as has been communicated on numerous occasions the rebate of spends to date (circa £15-20m) is expected as part of any negotiated deal.
Regardless I expect the shares to be trading at a multiple on the announcement of such news, the rest around protestors is just noise and - I will continue to add around 0.5 levels and under.
Good to hear from you but not so good to hear about your misfortunes.
I've got more INFA than before and I do believe in the project and in the current BOD but I'm disappointed with the SP. I feel it should be much higher but there have been some nefarious antics.
Anyway I'm still optimistic. Go well.
Setanta
Hi my old friend. Plus c’est la même chose eh? Hope you are well. I’ve had a rocky 2 years . Kept a few infa on large loss as bought at 1.2p originally and we both remember the Placings shenanegans. Added to them a good amount at 0.62p to average down but didn’t expect such a fall.
Do you still hold the very large amount you had then?
As I am sure you are aware my other investment nose-dived so my assets are well below half what they once were.
You have stuck with this and seem to know your stuff.
I have always trusted your judgment ( without being naive!). None of thst left in me!! Pips squeezed and woken up to smell much coffee. Real wake-up call ...not one I recommend.
Having added so much I now need to understand how trustworthy the company and project really are.
Hail !
Thank you ban4118 and jfk9 for your responses. ban4118, the exit date for SIC is 14 August and don't forget that JW said he was looking for a new broker. So that'll be an extra news item which ought to give some clues to the way ahead.
jfk9, I don't think the MMs have been the real manipulation culprits here, although they frequently seem to act out of self interest. I think the Tweeters are still active and I fancy we may see some of their machinations soon. It could be to the benefit of the SP this time. Profit is what they are after. Yet again!
Brilliant..as always,Setanta .....JW and team are caught between a rock and a cliff edge.Nothing is going to change til Equity/Debt is sorted and announced to be so.There are loads of LTH's who are suffering a loss at this time but who believe in the project ..Just like good old SXX ( no that's not a reference to what we get up to later on ? and we should be so lucky ?) but to Sirius on N. Yorks Moors and their wonderful but costly Potash mine project whose SP is well down at present ...BUT the product is pre-sold in bulk ....a bit like ours will be !!
Great post Setanta, as ever.
If the FSRU project is viable Infa need to have funding in place for the end of the 3 months exclusivity period in September. It appears Vitol have requested Infa pursue this, so could be fully funded by them. September/October is when we are likely to get an update on the EU money along with Debt/Equity. I think Vitol are part of the discussions, particularly as one potential investor wants to absorb the Debt and Equity.
I agree the Marine Licence is just noise and DAERA seem to have challenged some of the protestors claims at the meeting Infa hosted with them.
I’m less sure on how the manipulations work and it will be interesting if anything significantly changes when SiC step down. Does anyone know the timeframe for this?
Interesting times ahead.
Setanta, very well put, interesting that in terms of sp today, there appears to have been flurry of sells yet sp not dropped. As you say MMs know they have time on their side and I believe are trading between themselves to generate sells. I think the tree is well and truly shaken and agree we may see a little drift lower over coming weeks providing we are not struck by bad news or negative tweets. I am watching and very tempted to make yet a further top up.
for reminding me MR. Triumph. I forgot to mention the new Chairman. I'm sure Vitol will,(more or less), nominate that post. In fact were the nominee to be declared accordingly I'm sure the SP would rocket.
A very good update and I fully agree with the content.
The important point is indeed financing the project and how much Infa is left with, dependant of course on their negotiating skills. Remember Infa are dealing with the big boy's here and the big boy's tend to dictate the terms and timelines, also banks may be involved!
The rest of the noise is just that, noise, all are issues that will be sorted including the new Chairman. The fact that some here keep referring to the so called protesters is in my opinion to cause doubt! these projects always attract protestors no matter where they are, my advice is ignore.
Mr T
!. As things stand Vitol SA has binding offtake agreement for the whole capacity of the project. But if the project is not completed that agreement is meaningless and it will not have cost Vitol anything. One reason why serious investors are deterred.
2. The important outstanding details relate to the Equity and Debt funding. That is what will encourage serious investors. The FID has been promised for the end of the year. That is totally dependent upon the Equity and Debt funding.
All other considerations are meaningless but there are other considerations which are being used to muddy the waters:
A). The Marine Licence. JW has already made it clear that the project will be well within the Daera parameters and the licence will not be needed for at least two years. Meanwhile the project can continue.
B). The outstanding EU grant. It will be paid no matter what the Brexit outcome. It is only an administrative detail. Like the Marine Licence it is just a current red herring.
More interesting just now is the SP. It has suffered a 60% fall in the year to date.. From the beginning of the year it has been mercilessly manipulated and some of the manipulators made quite a killing. They are still about and probably still active on their private Twitter accounts . Likely they will make one more attempt to reduce the SP still further before they decide to return to INFA. They know that it's as good as money in the bank but they feel time is on their side for a bit longer. Soon , I think! I won't bother to dwell upon the flipping of the last placement. A likely tale though!
3. The FSRU would have been much better left until after the Islandmagee project was underway. Again it has given the market an equivocal feeling. The excellent JW would also do well to stay away from interviews restating what we already know. They engender a suggestion of desperation which should not be company to such a fine project. Let's have the solid good news by RNS, JW.
I'm well invested here and I stay because I believe in the worth of the project and I believe I will profit from that belief. But I'm not naive.
Welcome back crl123 , plus ca change...... !
