I’m sorry dear chap but that was really a rather ignorant post. Never mind, we are all entitled to our own opinions ....you too! However most folks try to deal with facts and relevant information. I agree the AIM is a quite treacherous market at times but if you post on here at least think a little deeper and be coherent. We can all benefit then from your wisdom. Let’s be clear no one is or ought to be telling anyone to do anything; it’s just a platform for sharing views and everyone hopefully has the clarity of thought to make up their own mind. Have a good weekend.
Amazing week for INFA. The journey to a proper re rate has begun.
£7m market cap versus £67m NPV and possibly more....director options at 1p.
Slow and steady...pleasant board with a few trolls trying to get a lower buy in price. Ignore them.
today as the SP will more than likely keep falling on Monday......... Shame on the people that tell everyone to hold hold hold all the time, you know who you are. Tut tut! like I said earlier, great company and I expect a great things ie, multiples of the current SP. However, AIM is a game and some people know how to play the game better than others.........
No I wasn’t aware of that but it does make sense putting a terminal at this location rather than west coast of Ireland for many obvious reasons. This will add significant optionality to the project sponsors. Indeed I guess it seems likely there will be co investors in both to hedge positions. Presumably if tankage its also possible to do transshipment? All the runes are good for this beleaguered asset. It’s about time the U.K. started building “stuff” again ... even if it’s underground 🤗
'£11.5M already spent on project '...Is that CAPEX? If it is then this figure alone is twice the value of the entire company!..this spending adds value to a degree and therefore retains a degree of value
this is just an intriguing company -
I am sure Baron Day Trader held a position here and lost faith with the previous board...I could be wrong though
Just to couple that, the COO bought £100k on market this week taking his holding to over 3%.
Posted earlier by Mcadder; Great post Nobby you make some very valid points here. Some aspects that really set this gas storage project from the others out there are: - unique location and literally yards from the SNIP - quality & depth of permian salt perfect for storage - believed to be only suitable location in Ireland - full planning consents in place & local support - environmental impact assessment done - £11.5M already spent on project - core samples and seismic data to benefit FEED - nearby jetty would allow LNG tankers to bring gas - project pre-qualified for UK gov guarantee scheme - EU grant and PCI status for project - no storage at all on island of Ireland - potential for reverse flow of gas back to rest of UK - project has no further hurdles to address - just needs funding to be secured and pretty much ready to go subject to FEED which should be foregone conclusion. - potential for 40+ yr life meaning vastly improved project economics - funding if secured to be non-dilutive at project level - current bod having slashed salaries and corporare costs to a fraction of the cost under previous bod.....either way a straight sale or progression under the current bod to construction would excellent news SP wise for shareholders. The recent rises in the SP here reflect the fact that investor's are cottoning onto progress being made and the huge valuation gap that currently exists here.....
I’ve got 2-3 years to retirement .. my risk based strategy relies quite heavily on INFA .. been generally depressing since BP bailed out but finally seems to be back on track with the project looking very viable .. fingers crossed
just bought 250k at .719p but not printed which suggests MM's now re-routing through NEX to conceal true volume buying..naughty
now - tried to buy 400k but no quote -- MM's short of stock
Amazing!
Nobby I and a lot of others agree with the buy and hold play Ref to the LNG did you know islandmagee will be the only gas storage facility next to a deep water jetty, previously used to ship coal to Ballylumford power station?
to around 0.568 I reckon. maybe completely wrong. Profit is profit. I will be buying more soon, great company!!!! GLA
This is massive news for INFA:

It’s interesting as I am not a day Trader reading all this - I don’t even know how to look at buy/sell indicators but IMHO anyone sensible ought to have a buy and hold for at least a few months, maybe year end on this. This share once stood at 440p it won’t get near that again but if you examine the valuation now, the probability of commercial success, possibly a little more dilution I suggest the shareholders should assess this company as ultimately being worth several multiples of where it is right now. But that should become clear as I wrote earlier upon a successful FID with funding & at least 1 or 2 long term offtake Agreements. Investors should be sitting pretty if they are in at or around current levels as if you understand some of the supply dynamics of the U.K. energy markets volatility is increasing not least as the UKCS depletes and we have to compete on the world stage for LNG (92% of which came from Qatar last year!)
http://evermoreenergy.com/belfastpowerstation/ Big backers on that project due to open a similar time to first gas at islandmagee! Perfect timing
spud
I didn't know that. Get's better and better
Surely a storage asset of this importance would become a target for a bigger gas player? INEOS or Vitol?
After the profit takers the sp edges up
Good week here
Plans for new 480MW gas power station at Belfast harbour too
It also de stresses the GB National Grid in winter as much of the gas shipped in the Moffat Interconnector originates from St Fergus. There is a considerable benefit here in netting off. Irish power demand is notoriously spiky due to renewables penetration so a fast action MRS facility effectively balances that out - subject to the economics the store will have the physical capability to do this in the gas and electrical grids with Ballylumford CCGT adjacent to the proposed development on Islandmagee
nm
More LNG imports is gonna require more storage space to put it - it's common sense...we could see competition for storage and that would be the perfect storm for INFA
Seeing as you wanted to jump down my throat at the prospect of this being 1.5p by beginning of Aug I thought I'd point out to you that we are half way there and at that rate 1.5p is definitely on the cards :)
Certainly is interesting....everything lining up perfectly here for Infa
