Have screwed everybody, I jumped out before christimas and was waiting to see if they consolodated before i got back in. Whilst im sure it will end up at around £4 over the next year or two that is nowhere near the returns it was capable of giving had they not chose to shaft the PI's

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Car dealer Inchcape PLC (INCH.LN) Thursday said first-quarter revenue increased 13% on year after new car sales were stronger than expected in some of its markets and used car margins held up well. However, the firm said it was cautious about the rest of 2010 as it expects demand for new cars to be lower on year in several key markets and doesn't expect any sustained recovery in the global car market until well into the second half of 2010. Inchcape said it performed well in markets like Australia, the U.K. and some parts of continental Europe. However, demand for new vehicles was significantly below last year in Eastern Europe and Russia while in Asia it faced challenging markets, it said. last years agm? looking at the charts if the agm was also in may last yr the charts look flat? I only invested in inch a month after my research and so would interested in knowing what happened. I was more concerned about the impact the consolidation may have
Will it go above 40p and touch 50p after AGM. GLA.
the AGM on the 13th??
I hope you're right, I could do with some good news. GL
I'm also mystified as to why the share price suddently shot up today but did you see the £4 mil buy yesterday? On here it was marked as a sell - but my trading acc definately said it was a buy. It was a 3 day delayed trade at over 33p. So I have wondered if there is something going on, as the same thing happened on Monday when the share price shot up to 35.5. I always look out for large buys as an indicator of serious investors buying in - maybe a precursor of good news? Let's face it, we could certainly do with some at the moment! I checked Pendragon and Lookers at the same time and there was no similar activity for the car industry in general, so it looks like we'll just be left guessing at the moment. Would be interested to know if anyone else saw that £4 mil buy? Also does anyone know if we are due a trading update?
why this is up 6.11% ?
following recent carnage on the markets
Shareholders will be asked to approve consolidation at the AGM 13 May 2010. If consolidation is approved then it will take place on a date to be decided
is the consolidation anyone know
might shake the SP a little too before consolidation...
best thing to do for the consolidation i reckon is to wait and see if the shareholders agree if so then find out the date when the consolidation is due to happen. i would imagine the small investors will pull out.
Many thanks for your time
10 shares become 1 share is correct.and obviesly the value of that share rises.........i hope lol.but it means less shares in circulation which is theoreticly good .
I am new to this and have a small holding Can anyone spare a minute to explain what this consolidation means and what will happen My rough idea is that you get 1 /10 shares and the price goes up but doesn't that mean that you are not getting 10x your total. I'm a bit confused if any can help thankyou.
http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1272617820&article=42316098&symbol=inch I was in but sold for short term profit, looking to buy back in, but wanted to know people's views with this and if i should hold till after this date to buy ? Thanks
into a robust little share, which I notice has managed to buck the trend on a number of occasions latley when the general market has fallen. I'm going to continue to hold!
