No timescale was actually given. Usually wouldn't pay too much attention to these targets but guess I will see. My concern is just that I have got in at a peak and am not certain of any potential catalysts in the pipeline.
........boo!
Have given this a 16p price target.
Morning peeps - Looks better than it did yesterday. Right about the market - it has been very slow.
Hope your right just bought in
Ain't got in yet but only time & a close watch will tell. what happened to buy 1 get 1 free lol
Has HGAC forgiven me yet!!
Given the dividend and the drop this would be a good time to top up. Not got the fund available at present so now is the time to just sit and see what happens next.
Checked in this morning and seems things are a littel becalmed at present.
At least that gives me a couple of days before taking the plunge eh
Thanks for the info, my gut is telling me to wait & see if the price drops but will get in at some stage i just hope i don't miss the boat. thanks again
Good morning all! i have been looking at buying into this share & understand all the positive points you are making, but being new to this game the one thing that worries me is the price of the share, its nearly at an all time high going back 5 years. any help would be appreciated.
Looks like some large Sells were being worked through today, probably from investors holding out for the Results. However, this company looks to be extremely well run with a great management team, operating in an expanding sector, many of whose competitors have been taken over in mergers by larger organisations (see previous post). With an expansion into the health care sector and the likelihood of a merger at some point (in line with the sector trend), Idox is very well placed for an appreciation from its current SP level. Despite the Sells today, there's been consistent Buying pressure which should see this rise in the shorter term as well as having substantial growth potential for the medium / long term. When the residual sells have worked their way through, which may have happened, I'd expect the SP to show significant positive movement, imo! GL!
The possibility of a M&A for Idox is very real, reflecting a common trend within the sector; IDOX helps businesses to be more efficient, by transferring paper records onto computers. The company works with local authorities and other customers and most of its competitors have been acquired by larger groups. Brokers believe the same could happen to IDOX. On a fundamental basis, this business looks undervalued but there is the added excitement of a possible bid. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/investing/share-tips-and-fund-tips/article.html?in_article_id=443264&in_page_id=23 “we believe IDOX to be significantly undervalued, especially given the corporate takeover activity currently taking place within the sector” “we see strong reasons for a second wave of consolidation in the public sector IT space where there should be significant opportunities for IDOX” http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:ksMaQvWUABgJ:investors.idoxgroup.com/downloads/investors/IDOX_NOBLE_090408.pdf+Idox+%2B+take+over&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk&ie=UTF-8 - Idox helps businesses to be more efficient by transferring paper records onto computers. Have a good night and a profitable one tomorrow.
He was a tad perplexed....
Now I wouldn't want to incur the wrath of the share gods but just needed to free up funds. Besides it looks like I will get another chance to get in - though I missed the two afforded the last couple of days.
Not quite figured out whether to trade or invest. It maybe that I am a smaller scale investor that I get seduced by profit on the table. Guess expectations and approaches are different for every share. This one does look good to hold a lot longer with the visability and the final Dividend (Yet to come - along with a positive outlook to year end).
Sold the Bglobal and got some Tanfield then sold Tanfield (For a whopping £7 profit)!!! God, I am so good, it scares me!!!! Reinvested into this and just waiting for either Hansteen OO to be finalised or some cash to come my way.
I have a confession - I took profit on MONI and put the money into BGlobal. Looking to get back in at some point. Would have done so today but for money being tied up in a corporate action. A thought which occured to me earlier about MONI was whether there is a risk that 3G and 4G (Mobile Internet) could make the Technology somewhat obselete? Far be it for me to second guess you guys or Visa for that matter.
