Do US airlines have the same restrictions, have they been grounded, have they had the same government grants. Will they be effected by Russia invading Ukraine like UK / European airlines....
DYOR :)
Is that a joke?
Don’t understand the obsession with US Airlines
And also writing DYOR for that matter :)
Airlines expects bumper summer as Brits flock back to the sun
Two-thirds of Brits say an overseas holiday is a top priority this year as the ending of all Covid tests for double-vaccinated passengers from 11 February is expected

Seems BA.2 is very much more widespread than first thought. The very important bit in the article is the statement that Biden didn't even bother trying to resist it. That needs to be put front page and in all the hourly bulletins for a day. The next variant after omicron, son of omicron, has become dominant in most places, omicron has been usurped, but no action was needed. Indeed restrictions are being pulled back and removed.
Very unfortunately the comfort blanket is not being let go so easily - the masks. This is the long haul out of the pandemic with people unable to make the change out of what has become the normal. It might seem to be innocent crumbs to throw to the nervous and frightened as change comes again, back to normal. But those masks do absolutely nothing to stop the spread of anything, actually facilitate spreading of viruses and should have been abolished a long time ago. For some people, letting go of everything and returning back to pre-covid is going to be very difficult. And for others, a form of forcing compliance on a population and removing individuality resulting in uniformity where the insecurity of the person can be hidden amongst the crowd has to be maintained. It is like the Maoist uniform for all, the Russian car for all. It is like the tribal flags of football clubs. Safe with a crowd of people all showing the same colours. Remove the mask and people are naked and open and individual again. This fear and desire to force conformation runs from the little hitlers at the shop door to the most senior politicians and experts. A full withdrawal form the pandemic is going to take some time.
I think £1.65 is looking very ambitious, still anything in the green will do.
£1.65 close today?? Exciting news coming soon maybe?? Friday is always full of surprises after all!!
GLA. DYOR.
AAL +3%..... hasnt finished yet....
I can see them growing this year and next and as pandemic recedes people will be travelling again in big numbers.. Business travellers coming back now. Fixed costs under control, leaner company. It will very profitable and will be able to repay debt quicker than many people think. This is a cheap stock. IMO.
yes looking good sundee but can not see BA balancing there sheets for a very long time lost too much money bud hence can not see sp going above 200p any time soon and that's my get out on what shares i have left
