director buys show confidence in the company - they would expect to get them at a discount so would want more than 10p for them - just IMO as there has to be some incentive for the director...

3rd RNS issue taken by Director Havelock Europa's Shareholders approve new share issue purchased by incoming chairman Havelock Europa PLC (HVE.L), the international interior solutions provider, announces that shareholders have approved the proposed issue of 3,000,000 ordinary shares ("New Shares") at 10 pence per share to be subscribed by incoming chairman Mr Ian Godden. As announced on 20 December 2016, Mr Godden joined the Board as a Non-executive Director and Chairman with effect from the close of today's General Meeting, following the retirement of Mr David MacLellan. Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that admission will become effective and trading will commence on 31 January 2017. The New Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company. Following the admission of the New Shares to trading on AIM, the Company will have a total of 41,532,050 shares in issue. This figure should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
