I 'have' i own £17k worth.
Yes but the net worth of HAVE is £4million and Sty is £-7million .Havelock also are reducing debts substantially and Sty are not ?
Quick question. Why has the Lloyds contract win for STY given them such a boost when a similar size contract for HAVE has not? seems a bit odd
could be off again

Now owns over 14% of the company after buying another 125000 shares http://www.havelockeuropa.com/news/documents/Notification_of_interests_27.06.11.pdf
I think the results say approximately what I expected - economy is picking up slowly; they have plenty of cash to get through the year; the debt profile looks fine and has the banks support. I can't see the company going anywhere, especially with the Olympics on the way -- shops will want refits -- and when the economy is back to normal I would think the P/E will look very very attractive at this SP.
I am a little confused why these results are being seen as +ve. Still no major recovery, still debt ridden, still massive risks of financing being an issue. Their Major revenue stream (ESA) is major down and the Director who manages this is resigning. Not only that but the Chairman announces his departure 9 months in. is this not people in the know jumping out before brown sticky stuff hits the metal spinny thing, OR is a sale not looming?
I've started it off for you
http://moneyam.uk-wire.com/Article.aspx?id=201106270700061073J A wee spike up today Andy?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2i5D80YIfU Video from about a year ago but still interesting to see some of Havelock the company.
What is his deal - does anyone have any news on how he normally operates?
6-8p seems like a bargain a few weeks/months ago, sooooooooooooo happy to hold with a bit ofpatience, goodluck,STY doing me very nicely also.THE LITTLE SISTER
Wonder if he will stop there. And who is he if not the Carlyle bloke? He has almost £600K at risk now - that is a respectable sum for most.
It looks like it - actually it looks like several major investors are buying and selling reasonably large chunks right now, hence the big swings
What kicked off mate, I am not in the UK so I'm a bit out of the loop!
I recognise those 50Ks
Had enough of what..? a nice rise from 8p to 16p?
HAD ENOUGH
Nicely still has a mad market cap, not invested as missed boat @8p(gutted) so many tin pot companys have deservedly gone to the wall for sh!t workmanship and shoody service, HVE never been that company. Surley Wates (massivecompany) have this on the radar? they do so much work for them and a 6 mill market cap? no brainer good luck
I think the management statement is due this week or next, judging by the timing of last year's. Almost certain there will be no dividend and I don't really care. I just want to see that HVE is turning things around. Mr Burgess seems to think they are. He now owns over 7%. If they do show a turnaround, I'd not be at all surprised to see this tipped in the newspapers or Investors' Chronicle within a year. They were at 170p prior to the recession. If they could recover to anywhere near that, wouldn't that be splendid? :0)
will be about Andrew Burgess buying more shares I think.
