.........better than your help.
"No I’m pointing out the loose footholds."
What makes you think people either need or appreciate your 'help' ?
No I’m pointing out the loose footholds.
Closed account today with great disappointment and 98% loss as a 7 year LTH.
I wish you all well whichever direction you choose to take with recognition to ADUK who has been a stalwart on this forum with consistently valuable contributions.
I hope that your own contributions similarly provide objective fact based assessments so that you can make the right call for yourselves.
Best of British.

"From your point of view I’m undermining something that’s already on a very precarious and dangerous footing."
Which sounds a bit like pulling out a rock from under the foot of someone doing a freeclimb on El Capitan in Yosemite. Not a very nice thing to do. Despite your platitudes about 'helping people', what you're doing is quite the opposite.
No its far too late for that. You are just a paid lackey and you should be ashamed of what you are doing for a living.Just like TV reporters with Oxbridge degrees shouting at Ministers in Downing St,knowing they will get no response.a waste of your talents
Littlened it’s a matter of perspective. From my point of view I’m trying to help others see the folly in this. From your point of view I’m undermining something that’s already on a very precarious and dangerous footing.
No pangs of conscience for the destructive work you do?You are an intelligent guy. What you do is a waste of your life
peacefully.
Do you never sleep NGR ?
It would have been much more impressive if you’d said you could 69.99% fill an Olympic sized swimming pool with crude each day. And you could also fill the adjacent diving pool with produced water.
Slift,
""Back to our imaginary petrol-producing well. You know how long it would take for that to fill your tank ? About one second."
Lol.. "imaginary".
Now if you look hop back into the real world and look at it as a crude producing well, and actually give consideration to the crude refining process.."
You completly missed my point, or maybe did so deliberately. I know that the idea of Lancaster producing pure, refined petrol is an absurd, imaginary idea. But it was just to illustrate what 11,000 bbl / day is actually like, because some people here seem to think that well 6 is producing at some kind of 'trickle'.
"Let's pretend that that single well, Lancaster 6, was producing petrol (or diesel), not crude oil. OK, it's an absurd notion,"
Lol wtf?
This doesn't take into consideration of the crude distillation process nor it's costs. This is more than absurd.
If you want to "pretend" in the stock market, you might as well pull out your money lol.

You'll find that 11.6k bopd of crude will fill a petrol tank of 60L in 6 seconds, and fill a diesel tank of 60L in around 12 seconds.
Or ofcourse, if you want to live in an imaginary world where you believe hurricane is a mansion full of diamonds.. then it'll be 3 seconds.

RE: BoDToday 13:05
RNSnigwit,
" or do you think the OGA are part of the scam too?"
Yes, of course I do. Why P&A Lincoln ?"
LOL. You're deluded. You really are making yourself more of a fool everyday that passes..
Are you sure you're not PlantedBHA?
"Dont OGA have connections with BP and Shell ?"
As in they deal with them the same as they deal with the other 100+ companies offshore?
Some of their people probably worked for Shell and BP in the past but then most of them worked for other companies. And the bulk of those taking decisions came are long term civil servants who came from the Dept Energy/DTI or whatever was running the offshore for the last 60 years.................
Again - what do the OGA have to gain here? In fact they have some egg on their faces for believing Trice and Co originally?? Just like the rest of us.................
Even my cat knows more about oil and gas than most of these folks who cannot accept that they fckd up by not selling sooner... oh perhaps except the one whose a “driller” who at least knows some of the words they use on the rig...
I know more about oil than oilman Jim.
Littlened
Ffs...the OGA has links to all oil companies with licences in the North Sea...the are the government regulator you muppet... if your going to throw around insinuations then at least check that they’re not going to make you look foolish...
Aduk
You really do know fk all about oil and gas regulations, economics and accounting.
If you are not going to develop a field you have to abandon all previous wells... that are suspended. That’s the law.
If your partner doesn’t want to develop the field then either you buy them out or ask them to leave, you cannot throw them off the licence...putting aside they cannot develop the field financially or commercially nor are they able to farm it out to other parties, mainly fur the above reasons...then your argument is simply a childish tantrum.
Because non of this is your fault for not believing what
The company told you repeatedly what might happen , is it now ...just grow a pair and admit you hit it wrong by continuing to invest in a BoD who you claim is determined to lose you money, even when that same BoD told you what the outcome might be...who’s the gullible one now!
Dont OGA have connections with BP and Shell ?
NGR1616 Arrogant ****, must be oilman Jim!
"" or do you think the OGA are part of the scam too?" Yes, of course I do. Why P&A Lincoln ?"
Total and absolute madness - what do the OGA have to gain? They originally bust a gut and drove a coach & horses through normal procedures to get the field on production. Like everyone else they wanted to believe Trice.
Are you suggesting they're active in the market, investing in stock??
do the maths then.
RNSnigwit,
" or do you think the OGA are part of the scam too?"
Yes, of course I do. Why P&A Lincoln ?
Aduk
You claim that producing below bubble point will require OGA approval is a scare tactic... why is that? It’s a simple fact as it was not part of their approved field development programme, and do will require permission..,, or do you think the OGA are part of the scam too?
NGR1616,
"3 seconds"
Who cares? Same order of magnitude. And anyway, it was just some very rough figures running through my head while lying on my bed. No calculator, nor anything like that. I'd forgotten to do the gallons-to-litres conversion.
And anyway, even so, I think you're wrong.
