How many sleeps to Q2 RNS ?
I'm happy with the deal , it progresses Dugbe without any cost or risk to us , while we progress a less risky project of our own
The seeking alpha author often gets many things wrong in his articles which is why he normally only gets about 20 views!!
@soutie1974: it’s not entirely clear. I assume that given they can earn “up to 49%” there must be steps up to 49% which they can earn into, even if they don’t fund the full thing. What is clear, is that ARX will need to fund upwards of $30-40m to earn the full 49% and potentially more, given cost of the minimum $10m exploration programme, the cost of the getting to DFS (must be at least $20m if not $30m plus the overhead. The characterisation in the SeekingAlpha article from a month back was that 49% was being sold for $10m. While I do not think the original announcement was particularly clear, it’s time that the SeekingAlpha author publishes a correction to their analysis. This is a very positive deal for HUM.
Am I correct in thinking unless they get Dugbe to construction ready phase they get nothing ? It's not a phased earn in.
Dugbe never contributed much to SP but what is 51% worth now, good move.
A same sized mine to be built in a different country to double output, good move.
Gold and silver prices high and forecast to rise further, good move.
Dividend and share buybacks possible, good move.
Now on the radar of big companies , more likely that Sustainable will get an offer for all their shares , than want complete exit.
One thing for sure, the cheap takeover threat is reduced.
Roll on Q2 results.
On recent volume it’s 24 trading days IF they’re selling to zero. I doubt they’re selling to zero!
At this cheap price Q2 is going to attract more & more ii’s. Sustainable have done their bit to keep the SP so cheap which has actually been great for me to get a decent holding.
It won’t be long until an ii will go directly to sustainable for their shares.
You can enjoy any spikes you want in other shares but I’m very happy with HUM’s steady increase. This is only going one way & Q2 looks transformational for the SP.
It’s such a shame you missed out on this & looks as though you’re about to make the same mistake twice! GL
twogoals......how are sustainable running out of shares when they have another 34 million to go!.. Many more weeks with a foot on the break with regards share price. Come back when they are out. Plenty of opportunities out there. Could of had 60% on TOM today if you had got in early doors :)
Hi GoldenBull, perhaps I can add another item to add to your list of things that happened this week. “Pasifino Gold announces agreement to acquire 49% indirect interest (excluding 10% government carried interest) in the Dugbue Gold Project”. Please DYOR. Things seem to be moving quickly. Will be interesting to watch the Pasifino story unfold...
Like you say, you can let people know what you have done. I would not tell anybody what they should invest in. I have invested in copper, vanadium and graphene, all three have had a bad run.
Gold, silver and a gas share have put me in front.
Hummingbird is my only gold play but not my only miner, glad to hear I’m in the one you think will do the ‘best‘ though! Don’t worry, I’m not the type of guy to blame you for giving an honest opinion and if I make an investment decision on what you just said then that’s on me! Have a good weekend and here’s to another 7% rise next week!
I topped up today as I think the SP & gold has along way to go. Q2 along with Sustainable running out of shares will catapult this above 40p!
I have already had big gains on large gold and silver holdings.
Historically mid companies follow and tend to make the most.
As Hummingbird is now not a single mine operation , a cash cow, and good news expected,
The simple answer to your question is YES
I intend loading up on bullion and have cashed in all my ETFs.
I would add aimho &dyor.
I’ll take circa 7% a week mate, plenty worse shares to be in and due a stream of good news to further improve the situation. Out of interest, is hummingbird the most attractive of the gold miners in your portfolio?
Not much happened this week apart from SP rising 4P and gold going through $1800.
Of course you could keep your money in a bank account but with Q2 production RNS expected in next 10 days, there may be a better place to keep your cash.
Stay safe and enjoy the weekend.
