Anyone know when we can expect hard data around the cost reduction programme and branch optimisation? Or have I missed the detail somewhere?
12 months of improvements will see this back to 60 - 70p maybe more..... they do need to keep making profit and show they can keep improving, the main man does seem focused to be fair.
potential to be back trading in the 40’s IMO anyone else?
Looking for a bit more of a rise once the 9am and 11am meetings for major investors are over.... we will see though.
Well if tosca have taken there money out of speedy maybe they will invest here and buy most of the company ? Food for thought ?
How can a few months of tepid growth set against a menacing backdrop of £220 millon debt possibly excite anybody to want to buy here?
Strangely the price is rising on low volumes
Tomorrow will be interesting... they have already said the strategic review is going well and they are now making a profit every month....
above 30p soon IMHO
competition authority investigating VP takeover of Brandon Hire. And while I can't see anything coming of it, it seems highly unlikely that they would take out an even larger competitor while in the middle of a an ongoing investigation.
HSS is showing as no trades, or price update for me today. Can anyone help explain why this is? I've not seen it before.
VP could be interested - they have just picked up Brandon and may wish to bolt on HSS before its recovery momentum starts. I suspect they will want the strategy update to be upbeat in order to get the larger shareholders on side. If it's good news and it could push the sp to nearer 40p any TO of HSS will have been thwarted imo.
Toscafund tonight reveal they have sold the lions share of their 20% stake in Speedy Hire leaving them with 8% holding. It's clear they have conceded defeat in the long fight for a merger with HSS. The HSS survival plan had better be good next week because no knight in shining armour will be coming to its rescue now.
Yes heard that same thing when clln got dropped from the ftse 250.... but it never happened. Thanks for your concern though.
FTSE has just deleted HSS Hire Group from the FTSE All-Share so I suspect many of the institutional investors will be out the gate very shortly...
The trades are looking busier so far today... hope this keeps up day on day now with lots of buying
lol like I said complete moron
Here’s hopin you say attracts little interest from institutional investors??? have you even bothered to look who owns over 70% of the companies shares??? like I said the other day soon and gloom morons out for their own gain don’t care what they look like or how stupid they sound on here
Should be very interesting
Come on hereshoping we have no beef!! Its done 30pc in 3 days and hopefully the review will drive it up further, i cant ask more than that... hoping for similar in clln in lead up to their results.
Fair enough you had your say hereshopin it is your last post cheers LOL
We will have to ignore the fact there was probably a leak and over 800k shares were traded in the previous 2 days and increased the share price 26pc then !? They are now turning a profit every month and the strategic review is going well. Had i of listened to your doom and gloom i may have sold but fortunately i never.
Hereshopin thats very silly.
I think we are now back on a full recovery track with growth to continue thereafter. The new management has acted well and will drive this forward. The strategy update on 7 December will add more good news
thats a lot better than a few people in here were predicting !?!?! I really feel sorry for anyone that sold out because of a certain few people in here who feel they know more than anyone else. Lets hope the profit keeps coming and good luck to all holders!!!!
